It may seem odd for a women in her 40's to have never been married. But I don't view marriage as a necessity, but rather as a possibility if I were to meet someone I thought I couldn't live without. Oh sure, it saves some of my changes but not all of them. What's really frustrating is I liked what I wrote, which is kinda new for me. I usually have such a difficult time figuring out what I want to say.Both of my children are on their way to being grown, as of this year they are both in college. I'm so excited for them and enjoy watching them become adults. It's also put me in a position to learn about myself. What do I want in this next stage of my life. I've learned that I enjoy living alone, I like the feeling of coming home to an empty house. I've also learned I'm not the girl next door. I enjoy hanging out at home alone or with friends playing games (spades, dominos, etc.) or going out for a night of adventure. This is one of those things I didn't think to put in my about me section but several men have been offended by my response to there messages. My dating preference is black men, I've dated others (even married others), its an attraction thing its not personal.
