I like to fish. Not great at it, but like it none the less. I find it relaxing. (except when when nothings biting!) I went deer hunting for the first time last year. Would like to do that again.I draw and paint. Mostly wildlife, old buildings, and nature. I write poetry. Have a couple published. Am pretty creative, I guess. Like to drive in the country and take pictures of things to paint.I walk a lot. Should step that up a little, but I have a full and a part-time job, so it's hard to find the time.I absolutely love music. Can't do anything without it. Some of everything depending on my mood. Mostly country and 80's stuff. Can play part of "Dream On "on guitar and even drum a little.(very little!) Not a big t.v. watcher. Have a couple sitcoms I like, or CMT, and Hallmark(cheesy,I know, but that's how I roll!) I do like to watch some discovery channel stuff:Gold Diggers, Deadliest Catch. Love movies too, again, some of everything. I'm kind of a popcorn-aholic.Not real big on going to the bar to just hang out. Do like to go for live music, or karoake. Might even do a little dancing.My "someday "Looking for someone who enjoys living the simple life, (you can have nice things without being materialistic) but who's not "simple minded." He has to be able to open up, but also be a good listener, because it works both ways. (communication is key in any relationship) I'd like him to be responsible, but not overly serious, He's gotta be comedic, as most days I could use a good laugh! He doesn't have to be a church goer, but he needs to at least believe in God. Do you think I can get all that in one package?

If you are looking for a one night stand keep looking. I am not interested. Now on a lighter note. I have many hobbies and things I like to do. Love the outdoors. Working in the yard. Hunting, Fishing, Motorcycle rides, Camping,or just a nice picnic. Even though most of these sound pretty redneck. I am still very much a woman. I can fit in just about anywhere. From a nice dinner, dancing, a great sporting event. (love the rush) to a local hole in the wall in my jeans, or snuggles in front of my fireplace in my sweats and a t shirt. It is all about being with someone that will let me just be myself. Its all about being real. I am in no way perfect. But, I am real!!!!! I have put all my energy into my children for the last few years. I only have one at home now and it is time to look for someone that wants to share this life journey with me. I dont expect anyone to take care of me. I also dont want someone that expects to be taken care of. I am looking for a partnership. Someone that is just truly happy to spend time with me no matter what we are doing. I think a fist date should be on neutral ground. A local cafe, park, casual lunch or dinner. Somewhere you can actually talk to see if there is any connection.

Well, here's a little about me. I'm a pretty laid back kinda girl. Make a fire and sit me in front of it with a cold beer, music, and friends and I'm happy! I love being outside. There's nothing like sitting out under my covered back porch watching a lightning storm.I mostly listen to classic rock, but have an ear for lot's of different music. I find it amazing that there is a line in a song for just about every situation I'm in.I work hard. I have a job, two kids and a house to take care of. It takes a lot of effort, but love the feeling of a job well done. On the flip side, I love to have fun! Laughter makes it all worth while, doesn't it?I like to read when I have the time. I recently read World War Z and 50 Shades of Grey Trilogy. I'm not carrying around a book now.
