I'm the girl next door and would probably remind you of your best friend's little sister. I am looking for someone nice, honest, kind and reliable to hang out with. I am NOT looking for a hookup or friends with benefits.Wow, how to describe myself... I am a woman after all, we change from one second to the next! Come on, you know you are agreeing with me right now. ;)Well, here goes... I'm kind, honest, faithful and loyal. I'm pretty (so I have been told) but not girly, I like the simple life and money doesn't mean much to me. I am much more impressed with a man's personality than his bank account. I live in the country by choice. I don't like mean, snobby, cruel people and I have no time for men who are liars or cheats. I like real men- the kind they used to make. I can be stubborn. I almost guarantee I will cry at a sad movie, song or one of those darn Hallmark commercials. I like to camp, fish, canoe, go to movies, the theatre, sit around a bonfire, go boating, go to an auction, I love photography, road trips or just a lazy drive on a gravel road with the radio on! I am up for about anything, but I am not the daredevil type. There are so many more things I could list- but let's just go with I am multifaceted. I'm easy going and easy to please, BUT if you screw up and do something INCREDIBLY stupid- I will let you know what I think about it. I may be quiet, but I am no wallflower. I am relatively low maintenance- I drive a truck (which is usually dirty) and prefer jeans and a tshirt to a dress and heels. You will find me dressed up though, I do know how. I have a job and don't need someone to support me, I'm not a freeloader (I am also not looking for someone that wants to spend MY money for me). That was not a slap in the face, I am about as far from being a woman's libber as you can get. I have old fashioned values and stick to them and I am just a bit tired of getting used. And I can handle a little harmless jealousy, but if you plan on going crazy with it or controlling me- you might want to send a message to someone else ***, I don't handle being pushed real well.All of this sounds so blunt, like I'm trying to sell a used car. My profile isn't glamorous- there are no lies. I am not going to try to be someone else just to impress you- this is who I am and I am pretty ok with that.So, here I am! TaDa! As you can see, I wasn't joking about loving the greasy pizza... Not trying to be rude here, but sending me a message calling me sweetie, baby, honey, sexy, etc is just weird. You don't even know me and I am not the kind of woman that falls for it. And no, I am not a fan of motorcycles- sorry.

    People always tell me I'm funny and outgoing. I'm also told I'm a bit sassy. Whatever that means. :) But, I also think I can be a bit shy and laid back. I am a true friend for life. One thing that brings me great joy is giving a good gift. I am thoughtful and dependable. I am not a perfectionist, but expect people to always try their best at everything and anything they do. I enjoy yoga and feel great after I've had my butt kicked in class. I also enjoy swimming and biking. I've become a bit more serious about my running in the last few years. I'm certainly not good at it, but I'm giving it my best effort. My new thing seems to be running ***marathons. While still hard for me, I'm getting better at it each time. Hey, I get some bling-bling and a free beer for finishing! I'm easy to please. ; Fingers crossed... You better like tall. I love my heels and really only wear flat shoes when I have my running shoes on. I appreciate someone who loves life and loves family. I like a confident, but certainly not arrogant, guy who works hard (but not too hard) and plays hard (but not too hard). Make me laugh and your golden. I like someone who is active in some way, whether running, biking, or other sports. Also, it is very important to me that you are not afraid to show affection. This is a non-negotiable for me. Also, tall Yeah, I need tall. Sorry, anyone under 6'0. P.S. I find men with Cubs season tickets particularly attractive. ;)

    It may seem odd for a women in her 40's to have never been married. But I don't view marriage as a necessity, but rather as a possibility if I were to meet someone I thought I couldn't live without. I am not looking to make marriage a priority. I am content with my current life as it is, but would like to meet a man that is interested in dating and companionship. Someone to go do activities with like dinner, movies, walking, hiking, traveling, or just staying home hanging out on occasion.
