About Me

Hello, I'm looking for a long-term relationship with a Christian man.I'm a homebody, like to bake more than I like to cook, but am good at both. I love kids, I used to be a girl scout leader until my daughter retired. I like to catch up with old friends, hang out with my daughter, watch tv, and play Scrabble and other board games. I like to go to the movies, go out to eat, and window shop. I like to go to furniture stores and look around. I like to look at new homes for sale. I love to sing. I was a lead singer in a cover band a couple years ago. I've sung in the church choir, and break out into song while doing my household chores. I enjoy watching American Idol, The Middle, Modern Family, Raising Hope, and Psych. I like most music, but classic alternative music is my favorite. I draw portraits, and paint with oils in the impressionistic style. I am a Bible-believing Christian. I am trying to raise my 16 year old daughter the best that I can on my own. She is a very bright girl.My favorite movie of all time is It's a Wonderful Life. My tastes run from Comedy to Horror.I'm a very funny and quirky woman, I want a guy that I can be goofy with.I like bookish types, artists, writers, musicians, and good-looking nerds. I'd like to meet a funny, quick-witted man who is honest with me and understanding.I want a Christian man.There is nothing more attractive to me than a man who loves God. And I believe for any relationship to work, it must be Christ-centered. I'd like to meet for coffee or dinner and talk about each others' lives. If the weather is nice, a restaurant by the river would be nice. If we're enjoying each others company, then we can mutually decide where to go from there. I have old fashioned values. I rarely frequents bars but if I'm there, it's for the karaoke. I don't like foul language, and expect to be treated with dignity and respect. Raising my daughter with similar morals and values is important to me. I want her to be surrounded by supportive people, positive influences.

Or atleast I'm not... I'm willing to wait for the right man.I prefer considering dealbreakers...you know... if exhibited, behaviors you will not allow yourself to tolerate. Some of mine are: financial irresponsibility, illegal drug use, inability to control alcohol intake, previous history of unlwaful misconduct and or involuntary incarceration, abuse of any sort, lack of a moral compass, cruelness and disrepsect of others, and oh yea, infidelity. If you have NOTHING positive to say about the previous women you have chosen and it was ALL her fault... you should know I'm pretty smart and probably not the one for you. Only on occasion is it soley one sided and no one is perfect. Occasion is the exception, not the rule....:)I enjoy many things and prefer to be active. You can usually find me spending time outside when its not raining. Day trips to the city are great and occasional weekend trips to the shore are even better. And of course long rides on the motorcycle are the best. (I could teach you to ride, but I'd rather you already know - either way it isn't a big deal.) I dont mind if you have children, I could be a good friend to the children of the right person.I'm hoping to find someone who balances me, brings light to my life and inspires me. So send me a note if you are interested, don't just add me to your favorites or try the photo bingo game.... I don't and won't chase a man.I try to live for fun and excitment... so say hi and let's get this show on the road. :) The only thing I'm pretty serious about is my career. My home is pretty important also as is my partner, being a responsible person and a good citizen.I'm already happy so I enjoy doing just about anything. And I'm pretty open minded and liberal in thought from my years out West. Does it really matter? Meeting someone new is tough enough so let's do something fun and the odds can wait. Note: If meeting you is like doing a business transaction I think I'll pass; I already have a job and I do my own taxes. I have very little free time and don't want to waste it sitting and being bored. Besides I have a great fun playful side that you're bound to fall in love with so let's go engage in some shenanigans that won't violate any laws.You only live once!! Don't waste it.
