About Me

I love life and try to live each day to the fullest. I love to laugh and spend time with family and friends. You will catch me after church on Sundays during football season glued to the TV watching the Titans play.I can't live without my Faith, family, friends, football, Diet Dr Pepper and chocolate.I love country music, riding bikes, playing tennis, reading, the beach, hot water, my convertible, and the color purple! My profile says my body type is average. It gave me an option for thin but I'm definitely not thin, an option for athletic, nope that's not really me either, all though I like to work out just not by myself. It also gave me an option for a few extra pounds, I mean come on, don't most people have a few extra pounds they want to lose or even gain. And then it gave me an option for Big & Tall/BBW. Really? What does BBW mean anyway? And at 5'***, yes I put that 1/2" in there, I am definitely not Big & Tall. So that left me with the choice of average. So I guess you could say I lied to you. I am by no means an average body type. I don't think I would like to be in that category anyway because I'm happy (for the most part except those few extra pounds lol) with my body. So I will just leave it at I am very curvy. Did that scare you away? Well, it should have. ;)One fact about me...,.I don't need a man. Now, let me explain that. I have never been married so I have pretty much been on my own most of my life. Yes, I have dated but I have never lived with anyone. So that means I'm very independent. I own my house (and have for the last 15 years), I have a great car, a wonderful job that I love and I think I have a good head on my shoulders. I don't have any debt or baggage. I'm not into drama and not looking for any drama. I don't fight, disagree maybe, but that's it. We are all adults so let's talk about what's wrong, kiss and make up because that's the fun part ;) and then move on. Life is too short to dwell on the little stuff. I don't hold grudges and I hate to clean. So back to my original point. I don't need a man because I can definitely take care of myself. However, I WANT a man. I want to love and feel loved. I want to spoil my man and be spoiled by him. I want to wake up everyday anticipating a new day with him. I don't want to take him for granted and I want to encourage him to be the man he wants to be. I want to be his best friend and for him to know that he is special and I only have eyes for him. I want him to know that when he looks at me across a room, that I get goosebumps just from that look. And that when I wake up, I can't wait to finally see him again, to talk to him, to touch him, and to just be with him.'Tis better to have loved and lost Than never to have loved at all....TennysonP.S. Guys we don't want to see just one picture taken years ago. We don't want to see pictures of your dog or car. We want to see pictures of you. It is not all about physical appearances but let's be honest, there has to be some kind of attraction on both parts to continue communication. Anywhere we can talk and get to know each other better to see if we want to continue talking.

I would write my usual novel here, but I think I need a new story. They say you can even find people on fiverr to write profiles for you - I think I should do that, just for fun. Does anybody even read these things? My work: A digital chick of all trades. I can work from just about anywhere with an Internet connection, but I stick close to home mostly.Hobbies: Fitness (not obsessive, mind you), being a geek, action movies, finding great restaurants and patio bars, home improvement projects (are you handy?) and spending time with my dogs. They are both very cool.Goals and Aspirations: Finish my landscape and house projects, keep my client base and build on it, figure out a way to retire someday (hah!), get over my fear of power saws so I can build all the cool-azz stuff I've seen on HGTV...Invent a better mousetrap - or shamwow. You get the idea.Taste in music: Euro-techno bubble gum pop and DISCO. Annoying? Probably. If you're a fan of Le Freak you already have my attention.Race is not an issue. Good luck to us all. :-)From the late Andy Rooney:"As I grow in age, I value women over 40 most of all. Here are just a few reasons why: A woman over 40 will never wake you in the middle of the night and ask, 'What are you thinking?' She doesn't care what you think. If a woman over 40 doesn't want to watch the game, she doesn't sit around whining about it. She does something she wants to do, and it's usually more interesting. Women over 40 are dignified. They seldom have a screaming match with you at the opera or in the middle of an expensive restaurant. Of course, if you deserve it, they won't hesitate to shoot you if they think they can get away with it. Older women are generous with praise, often undeserved. They know what it's like to be unappreciated. Women get psychic as they age. You never have to confess your sins to a woman over 40. Once you get past a wrinkle or two, a woman over 40 is far sexier than her younger counterpart. Older women are forthright and honest. They'll tell you right off if you are a jerk if you are acting like one. You don't ever have to wonder where you stand with her. Yes, we praise women over 40 for a multitude of reasons. Unfortunately, it's not reciprocal. For every stunning, smart, well-coiffed, hot woman over 40, there is a bald, paunchy relic in yellow pants making a fool of himself with some 22-year old waitress. Ladies, I apologize." If you say dinner and a movie in this space, I'm going to have to smack you.

Woman. 41 years old. Zodiac sign: Aries.

Looking for: man. In age: 38-48

I was completely single for a few years (non dating) after a bad relationship, decided it was time to spend some time finding me and being happy single. I have learned that in order to be successful in a relationship you must be happy by yourself and comfortable with living alone. People tend to jump from one relationship to another thinking that they need someone to be happy. A relationship should complement your life and a significant other is not there to "make" you happy but to share happiness. Honesty is extremely important, I will tell you now I am very honest and blunt so don't ask if you don't want the truth! :)Things I like:Cooking, baking, walks, bike rides, board games, video games, scary movies, Christian music, traveling, Halloween.....Things that are very important to me:My Children (3), Family, My Faith...God, always doing the right thing....What I find attractive in a man:puts others first, a great personality, funny, likes to have fun/can relax/act goofy/be a kid/ but knows when to be serious, HONEST, communicates First date should be short and sweet :) a coffee shop is usually ideal, it's quite so you can talk and get to know one another and just a drink is a little less stressful for a first date then dinner. If things go well you can always continue the date.

A hopeless romantic who is pretty upbeat, financially responsible, and light-hearted. I tend to lend a helping hand when appropriate so if you do not have a compassionate heart we are not a match.
