Okay... second time around on meetville -I have recently updated my profile, although the description of myself has not changed, I felt out of fairness to you, and me, I should really include what I am looking for. :o) First a little about me. I am a fitness buff. I have worked out for 20 plus years and enjoy doing so.You don't need to have that same level of affection, but you must take care of yourself. If you can't respect your own temple, you certainly won't respect mine. :o) To follow that , I eat very well, and due to that fact, I actually find enjoyment in grocery shopping. I also enjoy camping, hiking, flea-marketing, thrifting, love a good wine and checking out new places to go for eats. Dancing, a good night out dancing, oh yeah, not only that, its GREAT excersise. I have a set of great friends *** this point in my life , my gals, and enjoy meeting up w/ them *** times to chew the fat.I have a deep affection for motorcycles, and when spring is in the air, you will find me on one. Would be great If you ride as well, so *** times I can find myself on your's . Note, this is not a deal breaker , but certainly worth mentioning. I am looking for someone who is diverse in what they will do in terms of their spare time. No more, "sorry, I don't like to do that", attitude for me. Life is too short! You must have some drive, diversity, life skills, people skills. I LOVE to watch the news . as it keeps me connected w/ what is going on in the world. Please come to the table w/ some social skills. I mean If i ask you "did you watch the State of Union Address" and you're like "what".. "what's that ", this is not going to work. I am not being mean , but there is no commonality there, and that's what we are looking for right? I've achieved various goals in my life, but I truly believe we should "stretch" ourselves on a daily basis, so my goals change as life changes. I volunteer when and where I can and find it GIVES back in so many ways TEN FOLD. I aspire to be the best person I can possibly be for me, god, my family and friends. My family, my friends and my spirituality have carried me through some very difficult times, so Its important to me that I always try to the right thing whenever possible. I go to church on Sunday, not every , but as much as possible. I'm not a holy roller but please believe in something. I enjoy spending time w/ my family, so you will have to as well. No , not like sleep-overs...!! Just normal stuff that some are opposed to. If you fall into that category, please don't bother. I am not jealous person, I am very secure , and expect the same of my partner. One more time - expect the same of my partner. Okay, I think that's clear enough. LOL I can appreciate all kinds of music and listen to Adelle when irritated. Aahh.. the voice of an angel. Other than that, I'm very regimented Sunday through Thursday , up w/ the birds, down w/ the sun. Yep, you got it. Come Friday and Saturday , my belief is moderation is key, as I like to enjoy lifeLast but not least, please have your own place...THAT would not be defined as the room you grew up in as a child. Don't laugh , it happens. Sorry to those who fall into that footprint. I know times are tough, but that's when you dig in. I won't do "sleep-overs" in a room that you grew up in as a child. Isn't going to happen. Look forward to chatting. Hi boys! I'm a hard-working, educated and loyal girl looking for similar qualities in a guy. Is that you? I'm in my early 40s, but think I could pass to be in my 30s. I'm not a gigantic girl, but I have my share of curves. I'm no stick figure or even "average." If that's what you prefer, move on, your loss. At 5'2" - well, I'm short; though I've never really known that to be a deal breaker, right? I have a genuine smile and big pretty blue eyes. I like to look my best (makeup, jewelry, fix my hair, etc***but don't take that to mean "high maintenance."I like to keep busy, though down time once in a while is nice. I've been divorced for more than five years and have no children, nor do I want any. I've got no crazy ex's and I avoid drama like the plague. I hate that crap. I have my head on straight, have goals and priorities in life, and my emotions are in check. I have a positive outlook and still hope to find my someone special. I'm college educated and have worked at the same place for about 18 years. I have a great job that I enjoy. I'm self-sufficient both financially and around my house. Do not read that as I'm rich - I'm not - haha - but neither am I looking for a sugar daddy or handy man to take care of me. I'm looking for a good guy to spend time with and share fun times and experiences. Someone who is loyal and will treat me well and make me feel special. Someone I could take home some day to meet my parents and be proud to introduce to my family. Someone who is looking for those same qualities in a girl. As far as hobbies, I'm a bit of a conundrum so don't do any judging until you meet me. 1. I'm pretty musically involved. I see it as my creative outlet with some really great friends. I love music in general, really. Going to live gigs at local venues is great fun. 2. I have a nice little sport bike. I like to ride. Either on my bike or the back of yours if you are a good rider...lol. 3. I like to tinker in my garage. Mostly cleaning and shining my car/bike or fixing things that went boom at the house. [#2 and #3 do not make me a biker chic or a butch. I just spent a lot of time with my Dad in the garage as a kid and I'm comfy there.] 4. This could be a deal breaker for some of you boys out there....I hate to cook. haha. Sorry! Sooooo, if you DO enjoy cooking - immediate bonus points. Lol5. I like to work around my house and keep things in order and nice. I especially enjoy things like DIY projects and yard work and the satisfaction and pride they bring when I'm done for the day. I think my best asset is my personality. I'm easy going and happy. I have a great sense of humor (dry, sarcastic, twisted at times - not my fault! I worked with a bunch of engineers for years) and I love to have fun. I have always been one to abide by the work hard/play hard adage - so far, so good. I try hard not to let little things bother me. Maybe that comes from the maturity of being in my 40s? Maybe it comes from lessons learned from divorce? I don't know for sure. But I do know life is short - we have to choose to make the best of each and every day! A positive attitude is a must! As far as age? It doesn't really matter to me as long as you don't just sit around and watch tv all day! I like to go and see and do! I suppose what's most important is if we click. That's what I'm looking for. The spark. Could we go on a road trip and get along the whole way there AND back?? And still want to see each other the next day? If you've made it this far and still think "me too!" then you are someone I'm interested in getting to know! So, that was probably too long, but if it sounded interesting to you, get at me (and please have a picture or two so I know you have more than three teeth and your hair isn't longer than mine.) Two of my best buddies resulted from dates that were great but just didn't have that romantic spark.First dates are usually nerve racking, so let's just call it meeting up for a bit to see if there's that ever elusive spark I mentioned.
