HI!!! Thank you for checking out my profile...you won't be disappointed. :-)For the past ***years I have been working as a therapist, mostly in a group practice. I enjoy helping others in every possible way I can, which was the main reason I chose this career. I am an avid animal lover and have had dogs my whole life. When I first went to college my goal was to be a veterinarian, although I soon realized I love animals way too much.I have a wonderful circle of friends and I tend to be more on the extroverted side. From the time I was born the entertainment world has been a huge part of my life. My exposure to music, TV, film and theater was, and still is, of wide variety. In addition to the above interests, I enjoy going to museums, amusement parks, shopping of any kind, and so much more. There isn't much I don't like doing. I love to travel...whether it's a day trip to DC, NYC, a cruise, a long weekend in Vegas, a trip across the country or anything in between. I enjoy seeing and experiencing new places, new activities...especially with that special someone. I love the warm weather and the beach...not much into the cold at all...unless it's for snuggling by the fire with some hot chocolate :-). A perfect first date for me would be one in which we couldn't wait to see each other again. The company is more important to me than the actual activity, so I would enjoy anything if I wanted to be with that particular person.What I'm looking for: a man who is able to communicate his thoughts and feelings, is romantic/affectionate, has a good sense of humor (I love to laugh), is intelligent (but not necessarily book smart) and MUST love animals, especially dogs. I'm a down to earth, unique t-shirt and jeans type of girl, but when occasion calls for a black tie function; I can leave a taco stand and be ready in just under 3.5 seconds. God is very important in my life. However, I don't judge a person on their beliefs. I love early morning walks and watching the sun rise. I like to hang out at the lake, swim, jet ski, water ski, rollarblade, go to a movie once in a while,or just stay home and enjoy the company of friends. Which I'm never at a shortage of. Laughter is a must so if you're too serious about yourself we probably wouldn't get along.I believe VARIETY is the spice of life. I think without variety we would all be the same and life would be,"oh,so boring". I also enjoy studing other cultures. They always come first before anything else in my life. My son Dezmond just turned 19 and my daughter Annalise is just turning 9. They have a great father and there is no drama in my life.I've been separated for 8 years and have been dating for for a while now. Coffee shops are a great place to meet and talk. Dinner and drinks are fun. Music in the park is nice. Any type of sporting activity is always a plus. Communication is the key during a first date.
