About Me
Must have a job. If you collect disability, good for you! Now move along.Must have a vehicle that runs. Not married, in a relationship, on *** again with someone, or just looking for a friend to ****.Not a criminal. If you have children, you have an active roll in their life.Must be comfortable telling the truth all the time.Must not be closer in age to my parents than to me.Allergic to cats or dogs? That sucks for you. Move along. No country music. Rock/Alternative please. No wheel chairs. Not extremely obese. If you can't see your penis without a mirror, I don't want to help you find it. Now, you may interpret my profile as a reflection of my vanity, or bitterness, perhaps a shallow personality-and that's fine. I use multiple dating sites, and anymore I find it more of a process of exploration than a tried and true method to meet individuals that have some semblance of their portrayed personalities.Truth is, I'm not vain, bitter, or shallow. I've had my share of shitty relationships, but haven't we all? I try to remain optimistic that there is that special someone out there that will light up my life. I'm also realistic and realize that relationships are a process, a sharing. I think my biggest fault is that I'm too forgiving. Fact is, I might even be a little naive. Now that's hard to admit. But given my most recent relationship, I can't refuse to acknowledge the possibility. When I'm in a relationship, I give and give and give. I give my all to help the relationship thrive. I have a hard time recognizing when it's time to walk away, and I believe this might be the cause of some of my pain. I will try and until I can no longer bare the pain, and I believe that is why I can sometimes be easily taken advantage of.The criteria I listed above is blunt. I recognize that. But I've also come to realize that I don't have to accept things that I don't want to. Why should I-or anyone for that matter? Now, if I am in love with you, and you lose your teeth, become disabled, lose your job, etc etc etc-that doesn't mean I'll leave you. See the paragraph above-I'm not a quitter.I am always honest, and am disappointed at how hard it is to find someone that is the same. If I forgot deodorant and smell horribly-don't tell me you don't notice. If you hate the meal I prepared-don't pretend to like it. If you don't have a job, don't tell me that you do. If you think I won't accept something about you, don't cover it up with a lie. I accept so much about people, but I have to be given the opportunity. Wouldn't you want someone to love you for who you are? Let me try.I am hard to define. I'm genuine. I'm intelligent-not many conversations I'm not comfortable having. I love to learn. l like to share hobbies and interests with the man I love. I've actually acquired some of my interests from past relationships, experiences I may have never have had on my own.I love photography-and can be found pulling off to the side of the highway to capture an image that I can't pass up. I love road trips. Off roading, walking through the woods. Camping. Hanging out at the beach for the day. Exploring new places. I enjoy spending time with my family-most of the time :). I'm pretty independent, and try to do most things for myself. I've been a single mother for 16 years. I own my home and my car and try to take care of them both. I enjoy gardening, landscaping, painting, minor home repairs-major ones if I knew how. I'm not afraid to work or get dirty. I enjoy cooking and I'm good at it. I like to entertain, family friends, bbq, bon fires, card games, and drinks. I like to shoot pool, watch movies-any, including ones with subtitles. I watch too much tv, History channel, Food network, American Pickers, Workaholics, Squidbillies....wow-way too much TV.I have two dogs, and four cats. Yup, I know that's a lot, but it's just my son and I. It doesn't really seem that overwhelming, my house isn't small. I work full time, graduated with honors last year with my bachelor's degree in Network Security...and am not using it-fail. I know this.I chose big and beautiful for body size, I'm over weight. I have had a gym membership for two years. I lost 45 pounds last year, and then required foot surgery a couple of months ago...leading up to the surgery I was unable to attend the gym and have subsequently put most of the weight back on. Body type isn't a huge issue to me, but if you are obese and lazy I know I won't be attracted to you. If you are heavy and active, but don't wear sweatpants, then we have a chance.Anyway...not sure what else to say...I will *** back and forth. Will exchange phone numbers and text, but truly prefer phone conversations to really get a sense of who you are.
