I would describe myself as a kind, passionate, and unique person who is very down to earth and practical. I used to be a hippie in my previous life, but now living a pretty settled life. I am easy going but serious when I need to be. I love being silly with my daughter and have a pretty good sense of humor. I live life with passion and enjoy artistic expression. Lived in several states; moved around for college and teaching. Originally from the South. I am passionate about music and love to sing and can play guitar a little. Currently, I am reading the book, Outliers. I love, love movies! Classics include Shawshank Redemption, I am Sam, The Outsiders, Dead Man Walking, Into the Wild, Do the Right Thing, and so many more. As far as music, I love a whole range of artists. Blige, Adele, etc. I really love 90s alternative. What can I say, I am a GenXer. It would be nice to get to know someone and get together for a movie, concert, or dinner. For a first meeting, I think something casual like a bookstore or coffee shop is best.
