Woman. 39 years old. Zodiac sign: Leo.
Looking for: man. In age: 36-46
I like to hang out and do a lot of "normal" things. Bowling, going to movies, eating out, cooking and enjoying a nice bottle of wine, walking around our many lakes too. In the summer I tend to hang out at my neighborhood pool a lot with my three kids and go fishing also at my family cabin.I hope to eventually find someone who I can be with in a committed relationship again. I am happy being single too but I also do look forward to being part of a couple again. When I am with someone I like to spend time a couple days a week with them too - even if just for a couple hours each time. It makes me feel like we are still connected even when we're apart - to remember the fun we had when we were together. Texting is a fun way to stay in touch when we're apart as well, but still nothing like being in the same room with someone you really like.Things I'm looking for in a guy I guess would be first and foremost honesty - I've dealt with a couple that weren't and it just end badly when you can't be up front and honest. I would like whoever I am with to have a good sense of humor and not take life too seriously either. I am not looking for someone that has to be at the gym every day but also knows how to take care of themselves and takes pride in their appearance, but hasn't "let themselves go" either. Someone who has good family values and knows how to treat a woman he's with - how to make her feel cherished and loved. And knows how to treat his kids and my kids right (if a relationship gets to the point where I introduce them to my kids).I tend to like just about every kind of music except extremely heavy metal or rap - I just don't get either of those types of music. Other than that my range is pretty wide -I do like to let whoever I am in a relationship with at the time know that I appreciate them and like them to do the same to me. A lot of times its the little things that let each other know that you appreciate them and love them too. I have been described by friends as a great listener and friend who is there for them whenever they need me.FYI about me...I'm severely allergic to cats and dogs, so if you have one or the other we probably won't be a good match. A lot of people don't pay attention to this paragraph and end up *** anyways. Its not that I don't like cats and/or dogs - its that I cannot be around them for more than an hour without my throat starting to close up on me and it gets tough to breathe. Sorry if this is a deal breaker for anyone. but its just part of who I am. Also, I do consider myself conservative too...so if you consider your political beliefs more on the liberal side we probably wouldn't get along too well either. I'm not outspoken about politics at all but its hard to have a relationship with someone who feels so differently than you do about some pretty big things in life.If you have any other questions about this just ask away - I will answer just about anything you ask. Well depending on what type of date it is it can differ. On a typical first date I'd tend to just meet either for lunch or for coffee or drinks - possibly dinner if we hit it off. From there we'd have to see how we get along and on future dates try to plan them out together.

Woman. 39 years old. Zodiac sign: Scorpio.
Looking for: man. In age: 36-46
I can be a little shy and reserved at first, but before long I'll be joking and laughing up a storm. You'll find I am a good listener, honest communicator, supportive friend, and I surround myself with people who are as well.I'm driven by intellectual pursuits and my career, but I also enjoy being active, working out at least 3 times a week (mostly Zumba). Nothing is more important than friends and family.- the neighborhood festivals, the restaurants, the theatre, the virtual absence of snow! What's not to like? (Don't say "the traffic"!)In my free time I enjoy watching movies, tv, and live theater, Zumba, Pilates, swimming, trying new restaurants, going to baseball games, playing trivia games, cooking, golfing, and reading. Favorite bands - Ben Folds (Five), Weezer, 10,***Maniacs, Matt Nathanson and the like. Also gotta love the classics like The Beatles and Stevie Wonder!Movies - Mob movies and comedies! The Godfather and Anchorman are both brilliant in their own rights!TV -Sports - Baseball and basketball for watching. (Go, Cubs, go!) For doing it's cycling, hiking, and swimming. My ideal match will share most of my interests, broaden my horizons with additional interests, and challenge me intellectually. He'll appreciate that I'm independent, successful and grounded because he is, too. We'll have both witty banter and serious talks as we get to know each other. Ok, I've thrown a lot out there - probably too much - so I'll leave you with this:Overall, my friends describe me as being smart, funny and compassionate. If that's the type of person you're looking for, write to me! The actual activity of the first date could be lots of things - bar trivia, baseball game, museum visit, bowling, etc. What's important that it allows for conversation but also provides an activity to take off any pressure. If we're a good match, we'll have fun doing just about anything!

Woman. 39 years old. Zodiac sign: Taurus.
Looking for: man. In age: 36-46
I am a fun, down-to-earth person – no games, no one night stands. I love to laugh and have a good time but also know when it's time to be an adult. I enjoy my job and hope that you do as well, but it doesn't make me who I am. I am a hopeless romantic and always will be. I love running - it keeps the stress down and just feels good. I can sit all day one day and watch movies, and stay outdoors the next day and never want to come inside. The fall is my favorite time of year. I love to eat, love chocolate, a good steak.....scallops...I love to travel - to visit local gems and faraway places. Love the beach and the mountains...there's so much to love!-I am looking for someone to spend fun nights with - whether out on the town or at home cooking good food and watching movies. (Another mild obsession...horror movies.) -A guy who is spontaneous, masculine and sure of himself but who doesn't act like an a***-Someone who can be silly and not take himself too seriously -A dude who can open a door for someone-A good kisser -Someone who can either laugh with me or join me in my love of horror movies -A man who takes care of himself - you don't have to work out hours upon hours a day, but I do prefer men who are in shape-Someone who is emotionally available and can make a relationship a priority-A man who is close to his family...but not too closeSome don'ts...-Don't smoke pot on daily basis-Don't constantly check your cell phone when we're together-Don't drink until you can't see straight Meet at a coffee shop or a bar to talk. I feel that the first meeting shouldn't involve something as long as a meal, unless we meet and decide we'd like to spend more time together.
