I'm a very liberal, open-minded native Washingtonian looking to meet new people to date. I try to have as many belly laughs as possible and consider a good day one that involves ice cream!I love yoga, the gym, photography, beaches, Target (said only with a French accent), all things purple, and bear hugs. I like being with people and being alone.Motherhood is the hardest thing I've everdone and the most important. It has humbled me with its challenges and its joys. I try to push myself to take small steps outside my comfort zone in order to grow and learn more about myself and the people around me. Sometimes I stumble but I rarely regret having tried. I truly do believe that it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all. My greatest fear in life is that I will be 80 years old kicking myself that I didn't slow down, breathe, and just "be." I am a former-perfectionist who now focuses on whether I showed up with courage, not how well I did or didn't do. I truly hope I can *** value in my children above all else.My friends describe me as loyal, dependable, sarcastic, passionate, funny, strong, sweet, and feisty. When I asked my youngest sister how to go about meeting people, she told me meetville was the way to go. Wow! Things certainly have changed. I am a smart, successful lady with a big heart and a dedication to children & education. My hobbies include reading, science fiction TV, theatre, and learning. I'm told I work too hard and that it is time to meet new people and learn to play again.My two kids are the center of my life, a daughter ***and a son (8). Separated since ***, a joint custody arrangement provides them balance between Mom & Dad. I do miss them when they are not home. Game nights, watching the Avengers cartoon on Netflix, and reading aloud together is how we spend our time.I value education both personally and for children. I will have my MS in Education Admin by the end of ***. Little did I know life would lead me to manage preschools. I begin working part time as an online teacher in the evenings this month too...that was an adventure and I highly recommend it! Prior to that, I lived south of ATL for over 10 years. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, springtime walks with the wind in my hair, a variety of music (not much for country though), and I prefer the mountains to the beach. The right person for me will have a good sense of humor, enjoy intelligent conversation, and believe in romance as well as happy endings.
