I love reading books and writing them also. I'm a professional in the oil and gas industry so work takes up a lot of my time so wanting to see what's out there and possibly try dating again. I've kept to myself for awhile now and focused on work and professional goals.I have two children and they're older so I do get some free time and would like to just find someone to go out and have a good time with and not put pressure or expectations out there.I'm a little crazy and love to joke around and laugh, I can be very sarcastic at times and love dry humor. Like to go out to eat or have a couple of drinks, just get to know someone and see if we can be friends. Chivalry is not dead. Going out and getting to know each other over coffee or one drink to keep it short at first is good. But please be respectable and a good guy! You'd be surprised how many aren't out there. :)

I love to laugh but want to be serious sometimes too. I want someone who will challenge my mind but can be goofy and have fun. Music is a big part of me and so are my kids. All in all....I would love someone I could connect with on an intellectual level but not always have to be serious around, who will love my kids and accept me for all that I am.I will also tell you that I'm not "searching" the way some ladies are. I've been married, had kids, accomplished those "time sensitive" things already. If either or both happen again, that's fine, but if not, I'm OK with that too. Desperation is not part of my resume and neither are hook-ups. I like people and meeting new, interesting ones. Being on here is a bit of an experiment, I suppose. If I find someone that I enjoy being around and start a friendship with, that's great! If I marry again, that's good too. But finding forever is an elusive quest at best and I have no grand illusion that it will be easy or even happen at all. I'm a bit of a dichotomy, I suppose. I'm a romantic at heart and wish and hope for someone who will sweep me off my feet and change things for the better, but I'm also realistic and know that those sorts of things are subjective. It may not be a stereotypical, expected gesture that will do that, but something unexpected and unique, *** My perfect first date would be meeting somewhere for food and/or drinks (alcoholic or non, either is fine). Good conversation is a must! Laughter is also necessary and will happen if you let it. If I'm comfortable, we can talk for hours. If things go well, we'll want to see each other again and a little kiss might just end the night.

Woman. 38 years old. Zodiac sign: Aquarius.
Looking for: man. In age: 35-45
I like to cook, go camping and fishing, and going to the movies or staying at home to curl up on the couch watching it on t.v. I am happiest curled up on the couch with a good book. I am currently in school along with working full time. I am majoring in business administration. I am a mother of 2. I just recently divorced my husband of 10 years. I am wanting to date, but if something turns into a relationship, that would be great. If you are married and still with your wife, please do not contact me. My husband cheated on me so I know how it feels. I do not want to be the "other woman".I love to smile and to laugh. I believe laughter makes the world go round. Smile and the world will smile with you. I love to travel but never have the time to do so.I like all kinds of music. I am not really big on R and B, jazz or classical. If there is anything else that you want to know, just message me. :) dinner or movie, does not have to be anything fancy. I am not difficult to please. I mainly just want to be able to meet and talk and get to know one another. Or it could be a walk around the mall, or a drink and doughnut. I don't drink coffee but there is always tea :)
