I love horticulture, hiking, kayaking, watching tv, chilling with my dog, playing in mud with my Jeep, swimming, reading. I chose to end one profession in order to begin another, so I'm back in school- full time.. I work in the horticulture industry part time, until school is finished. This tends to be hard physical labor, but it's mindless and allows me concentrate on the important things. I don't have a lot of free time, so it's hard to meet people sometimes. I'm a social type and enjoy small social gatherings with mutual friends, BBQ, cards, happy hour, trivia, basically anything that provides mental stimulation and good conversation. My goal is to graduate with a Bachelors in Business, my concentration is Organizational Leadership. I would love to work in Human Resources for Public Service and/or the Government. I have 3 semesters left and am so excited to begin a new path. The world is my oyster :) Maybe coffee, take the dog for a walk, glass of wine in quiet spot.. who knows? Someplace where we can hear ourselves talk. Good grammar and intelligent conversation is a must.

~~ My favorite time of year is here and that means I'm doing some renovating and updating of my profile! ~~ First, bonus for those who know my headline reference. I'm impressed. Second, while I am definitely looking for the right match, I do not need to find someone to fill a spot in my life. It is most important to me to find the right person - my mate. My life is quite blessed and full with family, friends, and a career I love. I want to share this with the right person and I am willing to be patient to find him. Now, on with the part that everyone hates and always comes across as canned, stuffy, snobbish, or downright boring. Let's see if maybe I can make mine a little unique. (I said "try" - there are no stated or implied guarantees. Unique is what you get in the person, not the fill-in-the-blank profile.) Ok, what makes me... well...me? The line in "; says it best, I'm there and it's great, but I come home and this fits too. Give me blue jeans and country and I'm just as happy. I am a "water baby" by nature. I love lakes and the ocean - swimming any chance I can get. My favorite places are all around the water - The rest? ~ I love dogs & kids, but I only have one of the former. He's great. ~ Books & Teavana are more addictive to me than any kind of food (yes, even chocolate).~ I love to travel (even unplanned day trips) & learning new languages is a necessity to me (I'm working on language #4 now). ~ I'm a historical & contemporary political wonk (foreign & domestic policies). ~ Music & cooking are more relaxing than yoga - but ballet is my go-to when life & work get really stressful. ~ I don't like flowers but I do like plants. ~ I like baseball & (Euro) football (aka "soccer") & high school (American) football - My heart bleeds NY blue - Yanks & Mets). I even like to kick a football around the pitch every once in awhile (bonus if you'll get out there with me & teach me more about the beautiful game!) ~ I like to work on cars & play with power tools (yes, I said that). That's the short list. As I said before, I'm more than the answers to a form. So, if you think the above sounds interesting & fun ~ If you are single, relatively drama free, have a stable job, and are looking to get to know someone to date with the potential for a long-term relationship, message me. I'd love to hear from you. Simple. Not formal or fussy or stuffy. Fancy dinners are nice but too much pressure for a first date. Let's do something fun. Pizza & pool. A picnic & football on the pitch or a walk around the lake. Maybe a trip to the pumpkin patch (it's that time of year!***Whatever it is, make it fun and memorable.
