A not-too-serious archivist/librarian who loves chocolate, cheese, coffee, tea, music, photography, films, tattoos, books, cats, purple stuff, sewing and making stuff, growing stuff, cooking and baking stuff, eating stuff, cycling, hiking, yoga, and wandering around the city.I'm caring, creative, curious, affectionate, patient, supportive, encouraging, a little bit quirky, open-minded, clever, and pretty much awesome. I also self-identify as a sex-positive feminist (which does not mean that I hate men, in fact I rather like them, which is why I am here). I'm looking for a partner who shares similar interests and values, who likes to learn, discover, share, be silly but also have serious discussions, has a good sense of humour, doesn't take himself too seriously, and has a good idea of who they are and what they want from life. I feel fortunate to have a career I enjoy which allows me to pay the bills, and I also have a small side business in sewing. Cat lady warning: I foster rescued cats (and have two of my own).In my non-working hours I try to stay active with yoga, cycling and gardening, or getting in some leisure with photography, reading, films, going to rock and/or roll shows, and cat naps with the cats. Sometimes I write articles for feminist blogs on gender issues. Oh, and slowly fixing up my almost ***year-old house (which means I have power tools and know how to use them!)Some things I don't like: hunting, fishing, hanging out in sports bars.I'm not too keen on endless messaging (but, I am more likely to respond to a message which contains more than just one word), and prefer meeting for a quick coffee for a fist meeting.
