About Me

I cant believe after all this time I find myself single again and back on meetville. But ok...I'm back and that's the reality of it so I move on. Looking forward to meeting new people and making new friends. Ok world so you wanna know something about me? I love to laugh. I think having a great sense of humor is so important and it's also important for the man that i am with to be able to understand my quick witted answers and not take offense to my sarcasm. 9 out of 10 times it's all in good fun but that 1 time....look out LOL. I love to make people feel good about themselves and to just feel happy in general. I am a very happy person. I live one day to the next and don't bring anything negative from today into tomorrow. Everyday is a new day and you can't change what happened yesterday so why bother dwelling on it? The man that I am looking for should also feel that way. If you're one to hold grudges then even though you may be the nicest guy, please keep on moving along to the next profile because I have no tolerance for people who want to just hold onto bad feelings and not either deal with them or let them go. That's just who i am. I love to have fun. I love going dancing mostly to reggae or spanish music. Those are my favorites but I also like dance music at the clubs. I'm not much into hip hop cause i still can't figure out how to shake my money maker to it but if you can teach me then maybe i'll start to like it!! LOL I love chillin to jazz and r&b. I recently discovered that I now like country music too so that opens up a whole new world of possibilities for me. Im looking forward to hittin up some country bars in the area and see how well i do line dancing. My favorite thing to do is shooting pool. If i could get a pool table in my house then i would probably never leave. I'm not that good at it but boy I have lots of fun playing. Ok so there's just a little about me that you might wanna know. If you think you might be interested then holla atcha girl. I think the best first dates are lunch dates to be honest with you. My theory is this: I've been on several dates now and dinner dates seem to last too long sometimes when you're not having fun and you just wanna go. Sorry i've had some pretty bad dates lately. Anyway... if we meet for lunch and there's really no connection then we have to end it early anyway because we both have to go back to work. But if we meet for lunch and there's great chemistry, then even though we have to go back to work, we'll have another date to look forward to in the near future. I seriously think it's a win win. If you haven't tried it then you most certainly should.

    Due to some recent messages from some "separated" guys, honestly, I dont want to be mean, but I have been out of my last relationship for 3+ years and I think its only fair if I meet people who are like-minded in that way or have been single for a substantial amount of time. I only say this because of the honest to goodness effort I am putting into finding the right person for ME. I love my pets and treat them like children bc I have been unsucessful in having my own children. I would like to go back to school and get my nursing degree, im still on the fence a bit, but continuing education IS very important to me. I come from a long line of educators.     I'm a pretty positive, sweet, upbeat type of person...more the girl nextdoor type. I'm honest, sincere and a mother of two great kids who I am very involved with. I am pretty laid back, low maintenance and low drama. I enjoy a variety of outdoor activities and am up to try new things. I also enjoy laying low and staying in for the evening from time to time.I have meet some really nice guys, but no great connection yet. I'm in no rush - plain and simple. Life is good, but it could always get better with the addition of just the right person.So I keep hearing that my photos don't do me justice, guess I'm just not that photogenic...oh well!I truly have no desire to have more children myself, but I love kids so if you already have kids fabulous...just don't think you'll change my mind on wanting more.And Most Importantly, if you are not done with or not truly over your baggage, don't waste my time.I won't respond without a pic. We all have different things we are attracted to, so I also like when there are pics without sun glasses. (I'm an eyes girl). I also don't see the sense in purposefully taking shirtless (or less) photos. I would love to meet someone who is not totally straight-laced or on the other end of the spectrum. I prefer guys who are a good mix in the middle. Someone who can lean a little in either direction depending on the situation and/or mood. If I'm not responding, it could simply be that I'm seeing something that is making me feel it might not be the best connection. I do wish you all the best of luck in your search for that special someone. Coffee or a beverage of sorts I feel is the best choice for a first face to face meeting.
