I often describe myself as very lucky. I have an amazing family and a nice circle of friends that I couldn't live without. I adopted 2 cats last year, and a puppy a few months ago and spend a good amount of time with my little fur family. If I had the means I would rescue every dog and cat that needed rescuing as I am a big animal lover and can't stand to see one suffer. I like to spend a lot of time at the beach during the summer. My idea of a great night is a nice dinner and good wine with great friends. This can be at a restaurant or a BBQ, as long as I am with friends, it doesn't matter where we are. I like to vacation, but am not much of a tourist.. I do like to "hike" on paved paths, go for a run through town, take my dog to the dog park, but don't consider my self the outdoorsy type. I hate Mosquitos, snakes, worms, bugs etc, so camping is kind of torturous to me. Unlike many people I love my job!!! I love making people feel good about themselves and everyday is different however, it is still work, and sometimes, like anyone, I just don't feel like going to work.. I go anyway.. I like being a stylist and have no desire to own my own salon. It's nice being able to walk away completely for a few days every Saturday when I leave, and not think about work till I go back the following week. I enjoy the advanced education, bettering myself, and bringing new ideas to my clients.I don't think I have a "type" as I have dated all different types of guys, but the one thing that is important to me is teeth! My feelings are, you only get one set your whole life... If you can't take good care of your teeth, most likely you won't take care of anything important! So if you have funky fangs, don't bother... Lol... Also if you have no pictures, no info and answered the questions with dumb answers like "I work" don't bother... I will not reply... Just being honest... I also find posting Picts that you blacked out the ex, ones I cant see you, or bad selfies (why does every guy post bathroom selfies with no shirt????) very strange, just have someone take a normal picture of you...

Despite working in the Sales and Marketing profession, I struggle to market myself personally on this site. This is my first venture into this type of dating platform, so please bear with me. :)I am an independent, confident, career-minded woman. Over the past several years, I've chosen my priorities - my son and my career.-based company, with it's North America headquarters located in Reading, PA. I am in my 18th year with the company and sincerely love what I do. Travel is a real passion of mine, and with "North America" as my territory, this job has certainly afforded me the opportunity to explore. I am also a single parent to a 16 year-old young man. He's a high-school junior, avid soccer player, and a member of the local JROTC, aspiring to enlist in the U.S. Marine Corps. I am self-sufficient, and own my home, so I haven't felt the need to make finding someone to compliment my life a real priority. Turning 40 has made me re-evaluate my thinking. :) I do miss the companionship and the feeling that I belong to someone, and I am looking for someone who will appreciate me for the genuine person I am, as well as for my accomplishments both professionally, and as a single parent. While I continue to focus on my career, all the success in the world isn't going to mean anything without having someone special to love and share it with.The late night bar scene as a regular activity does not interest me, but I could still enjoy a great dance club every once in a while. I can take my son fishing, then throw on my heels to meet friends to check out a new restaurant or see a live band. I am also always up for a day/night at a sports bar to catch a football or baseball game, or a soccer match. There is also nothing wrong with spending a night in, or on a picnic with a bottle of wine somewhere by the water. I love to cook and entertain, but I could use someone to help me perfect my grilling skills! In summary, I'm pretty much up for anything! As long as there are smiles, laughter, and good company, it's time well spent. I am a big believer that your appearance is a real representation of who you are and the way you approach other aspects of your life. I am not high maintenance, but I do take pride in how I present myself. It's also important to me that the person I am with feels proud when we walk into a room together. I would hope that person feels similarly about themselves, as well. Just to note, my favorite look for a guy for a night out is jeans with a sport coat and dress shoes. :) So, I suppose this wouldn't be complete without mentioning what I'm looking for in a partner: honesty, loyalty, respect, compassion, romance, pride in yourself, the ability to make time for fun as a couple, and have a desire to find that one special person.
