Lets all face it. Dating sucks. You get all dressed up, super nervous, maybe a couple of anxiety attacks, throw up....and that's all before the door bell rings, and you meet this person face to face for the very first time. Everyone puts their best pics on their profiles, so generally what you see isn't what you get unless you are prepared to give that date twenty minutes alone in the bathroom mirror so they can find the best part of themselves before facing you again.Yet, after countless failed dates, I find myself trying this again. Hoping for a slight moment in time that there is maybe even one person out there for me. Why am I single? Because no one has been good enough? Because Im an ***hole? Who knows. I say what I mean and mean what I say, because I never want someone to accuse me of being someone I am not. I don't like flowers. I don't own jewelry. I don't need "stuff". What I do want however, is to finally finally find my true love. True love you say? Yes!!!!!!!!!!! Why not! I am a single parent of one child. She is almost 4. I am 33, turning 34.
