About Me

I've decided to come back to online dating after a long hiatus. So here I am!Since I'm a big girl now and I have to pay lots of bills, I am a firefighter/paramedic for work. I also volunteer as an assistant softball coach at the high school that I went to. My passion in life, though, is being outdoors. I am an avid outdoors person as you can find me hiking, mountain biking, or camping any day of the week. The biggest test of my outdoors passion is backpacking. I've been on several ***day backpacking trips all over the country at National Parks or on the Appalachian Trail. Backpacking is such a test of physical and mental strength. I plan on visiting every NPS site in America, it's really a life goal of mine. All these sites include national parks, national historic sites, national landmarks, etc. Anything that is managed by the NPS, I will be there one day! This also serves as a way to feed my huge love for history. I'm a big fan of not only seeing beautiful or historic sights/sites, I crave learning something new. I am very athletic. I played basketball and softball in high school and I went to DePaul University solely because I earned a softball scholarship. I still try to play as much ball as I can. I just can't turn it off!I've come to find that I treasure my independence, especially after I bought my own house in ***. As happy as I am with how things are going right now, there's one important piece missing in my life. That's why I'm here. There is so much more to learn about me.
