About Me

I love it there! Hiking in the mountains, the weather, it's amazing. My whole life I have felt like I belonged on the West coast. I did four years at SIUE as a Technical/Design Theater major. My emphasis was in lighting, costume construction, and stage management. Live theater is a passion of mine, but I'm also into tv/film. I've never gotten the chance to do any work on it, but a girl can dream right? Since theater/tv/movie jobs are not easy to come by I am planning on going back to school for a nursing degree. Anything medical related fascinates me. Yes, I know theater and nursing are no where close to being similar, but I can't help what I like.I'm really easy going and laid back. I love cuddling up on the couch watching movies, listening to music (lyrics that have meaning are the best), having friends over to play games, etc. When I get the chance I love playing softball and sand volleyball. I would much rather be playing sports than watching from the bleachers. I like going to watch the Cardinals and my new favorite team the Coyotes. Also when the opportunity presents itself I love to travel. I haven't gotten the chance to travel much, but it's so much fun. I love seeing new places. There are so many places I would love to visit. And it doesn't have to be major traveling all the time. I'm kool with going on roadtrips too; they're like mini adventures. :) Adventures excite me, there's just something about not knowing exactly where you will end up or what's going to happen.I'm not big in the party scene. Been there and done that back in college. Not saying I won't go out every once in a while, just saying I am not into getting drunk and acting stupid. I do like to keep wine around though. I'd much rather stay in with some friends sipping on wine enjoying an evening than going out to a bar or club.You should know sometimes I can be sarcastic, pretty sure I picked that up from my dad. I'm a total daddy's girl. I also picked up my love of reading from my dad. I'm always in the middle of reading some book.If you'd like to know more about me send me a message. :)

    I'm a novelist. I like watching different genres of film, as well as reading..There's only one of me :) lol.My tastes in music run the gambit, however, some of my favorite songs currently are Carina Round's Please don’t Stop, as well as Backseat, one day by asaf avidan, pink's give me a reason, ed sheeran and of monsters and men. I believe that love should be like a romantic comedy. Warning: Side effects may be laughing till you pee a little, sore ribs from too much hugging, and moistness in appropriate areas! and lips chapping from too many kisses. as you can see i can go either way with looks and mannerisms, but my personality is probably more on the femme side. I am ready to give my heart to someone who deserves it. A romantic walk on a beach, followed by a picnic, and perhaps some dancing in the moonlight. If not that, perhaps some sledding, hot chocolate, and a snow ball fight. During inclement weather, i'd cook for you, we'd share some wine, and maybe watch a video together. And of course, any of these would end with a kiss. what about going to the library and picking out a book for each other? Generally i am very spontaneous and would much rather pick beautiful flowers than buy them.
