Although I love a good story, no matter what the format. :)I'd like to meet someone and have a click, but I really like to get to know and be friends with someone first. Either way, I feel its always great to meet good people. I think real and genuine people are worth more than gold in life.

First off, I whole-heartedly believe in the two following quotes:"I believe things happen for a reason. "It's better to be hated for who you are than to be loved for who you're not."That being said, here's some random things about me, like it or leave it. Hopefully you'll like it though, at least enough to want to get to know me better, because I'd love to share my world with somebody else. My favorite thing in life is to laugh. I graduated with a degree in Psychological and Brain Sciences. If you're sick and you come within a mile of me I'll probably catch what you have. I'm sarcastic, but I usually don't mean to be rude. I say "I know, right?" and "Oh my god" way too much. I hate *** and I hate fennel. I am referred to as TeeTee by my 3 year old nephew on a regular basis and love it. I watch TV like it's my job. I've been writing poetry since I was 8 and have been published 3 times. I worry way too much; it can't be healthy. I love to take pictures. If I'm in the car and I know the song on the radio you can pretty much count on the fact that I'll be singing along, no matter who is with me. I am a diehard Cubs fan and I also love Da Bears - I'm not a fake fan who knows nothing about the team I say I love. I had to have knee surgery from playing a game of whiffleball... classic. While I believe in my intelligence and skills, I sometimes don't attempt great things because I'm too afraid of failure - I'm working on that. I want to be more spontaneous. I probably have the worst vision of anyone you know. My biggest fear in the world is someone I love dying. I'm also oddly terrified of birds and car washes. I try to laugh things off as much as I can, and when life seems ridiculous, I live by the motto, "it could be worse" because it really always can be. So there it is. A list of random facts. Some a little silly, some not so much. Which I guess kind of describes me, and I'd say I'm looking for a guy who's pretty much the same way. A sense of humor and the ability to keep me laughing combined with a serious, sensitive side when needed and I'd probably melt into your arms.

I'm here to meet new people, and hopefully make some new friends. I love sports, so that's a good place to start. I like watching movies. It's something I didn't do a lot of when I was younger, so I'm playing catch up at this point. I've got a few favorites, but there are still a TON that I want to watch. My top 5 consists of Fearless, Awakenings, The Big Lebowski, The Dark Knight, and Dog Day Afternoon. My tastes vary, and I can appreciate anything from a slapstick stupid comedy to a serious drama and everything in between. I'm not crazy about horror flicks, but I'll watch them from time to time. I'm also an avid fan of music, like most people. My favorite bands/artists are The Lumineers, Sublime, CCR, Jim Croce, and The Beatles. I love the older stuff, but I'll still listen to stuff that's playing on the radio today. I try not to be a music snob and keep an open mind about things. I am fluent in 2 languages right now. English and American Sign Language. (Yay, deaf parents!) I'm planning on going to school to become an interpreter. I'm planning on learning Spanish so I can be a tri-lingual interpreter. It'll be a fun gig. I'm open to trying new things. I like to learn new things every day, so if you're similar, that would be awesome. I like to go out and explore when the weather is nice enough. I love playing in the rain. I'm a fan of spring and summer - partly for the weather, partly for the fact that that's baseball season.I really just want to meet new people. I have a car, job, and my own place. I prefer that you have the same. Ultimately, I'd like to be in a relationship, but it's not an urgent thing, and I'd rather have it feel natural than forced. I want a good guy who will show me that he appreciates me, and cares for me. Why is that so hard to find? If you're interested, send me a message! My preferred first date would be something where we could talk and get to know each other. Maybe bowling or mini-golf or something along those lines. If you really want to surprise me, take me to some batting cages so we can hit some baseballs! I used to play softball as a kid, and I loved it. After that, a picnic at a quiet location would be ideal. I'm kind of tired of the cliche dinner and a movie or coffee. Let's do something different!
