Dating should be like a job interview. Several questions should be asked in the very beginning and answered honestly, that way nobodys time gets wasted. I am very guilty of wasting my time with "douche bags" and the like. I am looking for a man to compliment me mentally, intellectually, physically, and professionally.     I'm saying this in the first sentence in an attempt to save you the time of reading the profile or typing an *** be silly and tell me that you drive fast. I promise, I google half of the locations I read because I have no idea where they are. The distance restrictions is a simple one for this area, even if someone is willing to make the drive, it won't be long before they don't want to make it (understandably) and I simply don't have the time for traveling to see someone considering all of my other obligations.After taking a year off from dating, I'm going to force myself to "get back out there" although I'm not 100% sure that I want to be, so you're warned. :)I'm very honest, very blunt, and, from what I've been told, not like very many other women on here/around here (Is that a good thing?). I'm from the city, but I moved out to a semi-country area where I now have a small farm in addition to a full time job. I'm stubborn and hard headed and want to do things myself (fixing lawn mowers, cutting down trees, opening jars of jelly), but I have caught myself thinking how nice it would be to have someone that wants to help out or just do things with me (if only I would let them.)I like to laugh, but it has dawned on me that I have not laughed very much lately. In fact, the laughing I did at an episode of Impractical Jokers is the only time I can REMEMBER laughing in the past few weeks. I'm not ashamed to admit I need someone's help to break that streak. (See, there is the honesty coming out.) I'm honestly not thinking about a first "date". I'm willing to meet, in the whole public place thing, and get to know someone, but I don't want to do the "date" thing until I know someone at least enough to know I want to be on a date with them. I hope that made sense. Going about things this way is not something I've done before, but I figured I'd give it a try.
