About Me

I'm down to earth, outgoing and fun. I love to be around people and to try new things. I'm a single mom and do work full time. While my family does come first, I also need adult time. I'm a "girly girl", so please don't ask me to go fishing or hunting, unless fishing involves socializing or hanging out on a boat working on my tan. I don't play sports and quite frankly, if you throw a ball at me, I will duck! I like being outside when the weather is nice, hanging out with friends, bonfires, parties, football games (although I don't know all the rules), shows, concerts, comedy clubs, etc. I also enjoying curling up and watching a good movie. I love to travel and my dream is to someday spend the winter months somewhere warm and the summer months here in MN. I love music, but I'm not a fan of country music. I know about 10 mainstream country songs and I'm okay with that. In the past, I've been in relationships where I've been expected to take care of the man, both financially and emotionally. I need someone who is secure in themselves, not jealous, not overly controlling, and who CAN MAKE ME LAUGH. I love to laugh, I can be silly, so please don't be totally serious. I believe it is healthy for people to have their own individual interests outside of a relationship. I also believe trust is the foundation of a good relationhip. At some point, I would like to be in a long term relationship, however, I'm not in a huge hurry. I've been rushed before and it obviously didn't work out well or I wouldn't be here, lol! I am looking for someone who is SINGLE, as in not married or otherwise attached, and is closer to my age than my son's. He;s 21, for reference.I do work quite a bit and I do have children. This means I am not here for extended periods of time and not during the workday.
