I'm most definitely a home body. I prefer a night in watching a movie rather than going out to a club. I hate drama, and though most people say that and their lives are filled with it, mine is not. And I don't want any. If you seem to have drama follow you around please keep it away from me.I think I'm a nice person, I have a fairly good sense of humor, it can often be quite sarcastic. I love animals. I have dogs. So liking animals is a plus in my books. And being able to put up with high energy goof ball dogs is a big plus.I don't really know what else to say, hopefully this info will attract the right type of person.

So, I guess it's time to update this, as it's been a while...I'm short snd sweet *** and to the point, which makes me seem like a total b*tch sometimes. I'm not, I'm just concise.I work full time, I have great friends, the perfect four-legged, furry companion, and I'm pretty happy with my life right now.I'm not here with the unrealistic idea that with a few clicks, I'll find my one true love, but I'm also not looking for a one night stand. I'm here to see who's out there, who catches my attention, and chat to see *if* this could lead to something more. I'm willing to make the first move, but it's also nice to be pursued.-fi), music ( classic rockc, folk, alt rock, some R&B/hip-hop, some pop, jazz and blues, traditional, anything live, and, thanks to my coworkers, contemporary or crossover country - Lady Antebellum, Zac Brown Band, etc), live theatre, wandering through historical sites, wandering the downtowns of big cities, wandering in general really, reading, and I have a few TV shows I can't miss (some are HBO, some are mainstream and very well written, and some are just silly). I love my Keurig and can't live without coffee - trust me, it's not a pretty scene before i'm caffeinated. I enjoy cooking, as long as there's someone around to eat with, and travelling, as long as you don't stress me out in the airport. I can stay out late, or go to bed early, either way, I can't sleep in - I will usually lie in bed for a few hours before moving, or crawl back into bed after taking the dog out. And, I'm not so hyperactive that I have to have something to do at any given time.Oh. I can be crazy too - any girl who says she's not, any person who claims not to be crazy, really, is lying, through her teeth, and spitting in your face. It's just part of who we are as humans, deal with it. If you can't handle the inherent drama of two different personalities interacting, you'd be best to just go live in a cave. Chat for a bit, on here, through ***, or via text, to see how we get along, then maybe go for coffee or meander through town to see if we actually click, or one of us was just amping up the charm for the other. I don't expect a suit and tie, but I do expect presentable... If you wouldn't wear it to go see your grandma, don't wear it out on a coffee date (I say this because I did have a guy show up with a huge hole in the seat of his pants to a coffee date once... not pretty).

Oh boy. These are never fun. Here goes:I'm a bluenoser, born and bred. My parents split when I was 11, and I was raised by my father to be kind, helpful, and independent. My mom and I weren't close as I was growing up, however we have since reconnected and enjoy a fairly strong relationship. I'm an only child, though I have 3 step-After high school, I decided to turn my post- I had never been to NL, and didn't know a soul, but darn it - I was gonna go anyway. I lived in St. John's for 4 years and LOVED it. I'd love to move back someday, if the stars should align. :) After St. I very much enjoyed the city, but I moved there during the recession and life proved to be a struggle. You heard me. I lived in Nunavut for a year and a half, and I honestly feel a little homesick for it every day (weather and all)... I've only been back in NS for a few months, and it admittedly stings a little. ;)As for interests, I'm a nut for music. All day, every day. I listen to a lil' bit of everything (and not a "little bit of everything" like most folks say....I really mean it...you get it....). I love film as well, books (though University admittedly ruined me for reading...I'm trying to get back into it), pop culture, FOOD (I love ethnic foods especially - Thai, Indian, Japanese, etc), history...oh, and genealogy. If you let me, I'll trace your family ***full geek out. Yes, really.I am generally soft-hearted, but I can certainly speak my mind if I feel it's necessary. I love animals...babies...people...stereotypical girly stuff haha. I love to LAUGH, and make others laugh. I'm quirky, accepting, and loving. I believe in respect for all people. I have an interest in politics (though you'll never see me take an active part), I love my country, and I fiercely believe in supporting the issues that you feel strongly for.I am on this site with the goal to find a long lasting and loving relationship. I hope to find someone with similar goals, aspirations, and interests, however I look forward to talking about how different we are at the same time. I will be entirely open and up front by saying that I intend to have children, and would love to have the space for a dog or two or three someday as well. :)So yes, slightly heavy, but up front - no? I'm a goof, I'm loving, I'm funny, I'm smart, I'm adventurous, and you better be prepared for my nutso playlist. ;)If you're still reading, I hope to hear from you...peace out, homeslice! Coffee and an adventure? I'm all for the stereotypical stuff, but feel free to suggest something out of the box (Volunteering with puppies? Hanging out with your mom and her buds? Clay Cafe? Skydiving?). :)
