I am a full time Mama and student studying Environmental Studies. I also work part time at my son's daycare, and I bartend ocassionally. I love children and elderly,and generally get along with anyone. I am very close with my family as well as my extended family.. I like to get together with them often. I am not afriad of bugs, bees, spiders or snakes, and I don't own a thousand pairs of shoes or purses. I can hold all the makeup I own in the palm of one hand. This can pose a small problem when it comes time to dress up for something.. Then I'm begging my girlfriends to help me "be a girl". I am not good around emotional people, (unless it's a kid.. then I'm fine)I am very understanding and open minded. I give great advise, and treat others how I would want to be treated. When it comes to my son, I am a ball of mush.My man should be kind, polite, and honest to everyone he meets. A sort of "would give you the shirt off your back" like me. He should NOT smoke (sorry, it's just SO gross.) Humor is a huge plus in my book. If you can make me laugh, you already have a head start. Please live relatively close by. ...And for god's sake, please have common sense, logic and reasoning abilities. A handy man is appreciated. I have a thing for green or blue eyes with dark hair, and perhaps uniforms. :)So we're clear, I'm not looking for a daddy for my son, and I am not comfortable with my child being around someone who may not be in his life on a steady basis, so there will be no "meet and win over the kid" in your immediate future. lol!! I would prefer to get to know you before a date, just to hang out as friends first and see where that gets us. If things progress, I am ok with that. I enjoy making new friends in a comfortable neutral environment..Something like a walk, coffee, window shopping or people watching...;What you thought you need" is a good description of my idea of a great day with someone you care for very much.

I mainly joined this site looking to make new friends. I'm not heavy into the bar scene and living in a college town I don't know where else to meet new people!I am a single mom who works full time, looking for a little bit of fun in my life. My son is 2 years old and if you have any problem with children then you should move on. I definitely prefer to just go with the flow. I strive to roll out of bed with a good attitude, because in the end it's all up to me whether I'm in a good mood or a bad mood. I am very strong minded and strong willed. I know what i want. I am misinterpreted a lot, my sense of humor, sometimes my sarcasm comes across as insulting but I rarely intend for it to be that way. I need more positive people around. I'm ridding myself of the dark corners in my life... you must have a brightness about you, be a breath of fresh air for me. :) Family oriented is a must. I love country music, I rarely watch TV, If I do its mainly for back ground noise. Note: If you your pictures consist of you standing in your bathroom with your shirt off wearing sunglasses, please don't bother!
