Finding time to meet someone is proving difficult between working full time and going to school as well. In my free time, you're more likely to find me at my house, mellowing with a few friends than at a bar. I do enjoy the bar scene every now & then, however I don't drink much so it kind of loses it's appeal. I do enjoy watching TV and my DVR is usually full. I dig sports, and I believe it is College Basketball season--not Christmas-that is the most wonderful time of the year. GO SHOX. I enjoy all times of music as it varies with my mood--; Sons to Frank Ocean to Johnny Cash.As far as relationships go, I don't have too many specifics. I do prefer someone who is educated and functions like an adult in day-to-day life. I'm not the kind of girl who dates someone just to have a warm body next to them. I'm extremely independent and to an extent, I really do enjoy being alone. So I think patience is another thing that I look for. A sense of humor is a requirement and I'm known for being sarcastic and having dry humor, so a guy with a thick skin wouldn't hurt either. Most importantly, I do not want children. In my 25 years of life, my thoughts on this have not waivered. I am not the girl for you if you would like to have kids. Also, as snobby or shallow you may think I am, I don't respond to a whole lot of my messages. I'll give a few examples of messages I DON'T respond to:"I'd hit that all night long""You'd be so much prettier without the nose ring"";"Yo, text me ***"

Looking for: man. In age: 27-37
I'm originally from St. Louis and I went to MU for college.Road biking, reading, playing outside, and watching movies are some of my favorite things to do in my free time. I'm easy going, and I don't do drama. I enjoy relaxing nights at home, but like going out to eat, playing pool (even though I'm horrible!), and comedy acts. The bar scene was never my thing. I love art, especially the visual arts. I've been told I make mean brownies and rice crispy treats. I love animals and have a cat. In the future (when I have more space) I'd like to get a dog.I'm a passionate person, and I'm looking for someone who has passions and aspirations. I need to be around a person who has achieved some of their dreams and is actively working towards the others. Education is important to me and for that reason I'm looking for an educated man with a brain that he uses. Smart is sexy. A good sense of humor is a must. Being with somebody who can make me laugh is important. I'm looking for somebody who's comfortable with who he is and is at a stable point in his life - somebody who can completely stand on his own and is ready for a relationship. Most importantly I'm looking for someone loyal. I need to know that the person I'm with will be there when it counts and has my back, and I will do the same. I'm looking for a relationship but at a slow pace to see if we have what it takes to go further. I'd like to go out and have some fun to see if we might have anything worth taking there. Maybe ice cream, coffee, anything short and sweet just to test the water. After that hiking, dinner, exploring places, or whatever else might suit our fancy.

Looking for: man. In age: 24-34
First of all, deep down I'm a hopeless romantic. I love the little gestures, the acts of chivalry and the other things that go along with being wooed. I'm an avid reader, and I dabble in writing as well. I also like spending time with my friends, I'm not picky as to what we're doing as long as I can spend time with people I enjoy hanging out with. Though if I can pick: go to DC to see the museums and monuments which, no matter how many times I see them always strike at something in me;; go to the bookstore. Like I said: avid. Mostly I have my little guilty pleasure: romance novels, but I do read other stuff! In fact, most of the grad school classes I took were literature classes to help expand my knowledge of the subject and broaden my reading habits.I love my Orioles. Baseball is the best sport in the world. Hockey is a very close second though and I do love Thunder games! On top of reading I like watching movies and listening to music, the radio is almost always on. Primarily I listen to, as I said earlier, country music, but I also love Christian music. I am a devout Catholic and enjoy listening to music that expresses my faith and lifts my spirit. I sort of like my gym membership, we have a lovehate relationship but when I'm really on it I like it a lot.At the moment I work retail. I'm not always sure I like it, but its a job right? At the moment I'm grateful for that since I've been looking for full-time non-retail work for a while now and have found nothing. I plan to start looking hard again after the Christmas season, but I'm not the type if person to jump ship at a time of need and the holiday season in retail is a time of need for the management team. Other things about me: contrary to how this profile may appear, I'm actually fairly shy with people I don't know, though I do warm up pretty quickly. I am sarcastic and love every second of it. I've been called a witch with a b and it didn't bother me that much because its probably true some of the time, particularly when you mess with the people I love. Loyalty may be one of my best qualities, that and honesty. I tell it like it is, sometimes to the point of excruciatingly, painfully, bluntness. Tact? Something I'm working on. I don't play games and I don't like them played with me, if I'm gonna tell it like it is, I expect the same from you. My family drives me crazy sometimes, but I love them dearly and wouldn't trade most of them for the world. Though God and I do still need to have a chat about where my little sister went, I think she got lost on the way because I never saw her, I've been stuck with a brother, who I love a lot nutty as he is, for 25 yrs. Oh, and you probably guessed this but I'm a bit quirky. Thats the nice way of saying I can be endearingly crazy at times. :)I think I've nattered on long enough, and probably scared away anyone who actually clicked onto this in the first place, but if you've made it this far and are still intrigued feel free to message me. I do always respond. And it is much easier to respond if the message says more than hi. What am I supposed to say to that other then 'hey'? But, you'll always get a response. Coffee is good for a first date. It's casual and unassuming but can easily morph into something more if you hit it off. Plus it can be short, which for the nervous among us, myself included, is a good thing. That idea of a 4 hr first date is only good if you click right away, otherwise its excruciating and has you turning down a second date with someone you may have clicked with if the first date hadn't been so bad.
