A little about me....... IWhere I live it is really hard to meet single people within my age range. Everyone seems to be in a relationship or married. There aren't many places to go so I thought, why not sign up. I figured its a good way to meet new people. My favorite period of history would have to be the ***s***s. I like to watch Musicals from that period and listen to Big Band Music. Although I like that period the most, I do know all the current movies and music, I don't live in the past. I graduated with a B.A. in History this past year after taking 54 credits in one year, so you can say that I am dedicated and focused when it comes to what I want.....and I am pretty smart too. :) I started working out ***times a week, so I have been spending a lot of time at the gym. I can often be sarcastic and it should never be taken the wrong way, its a good thing if I'm sarcastic, it means I like you. It's a little hard to write about yourself, so if you would like to know more send me a message. :)I would like to meet someone who is my equal and can enjoy the same things I do, or at least respect my hobbies ( I am fully aware that not all men like musical theater). Someone down to earth and respectful would be ideal. I would also like to meet someone who can open me up to new things- food, travel- knowledge, I always like to try things at least once. I don't need someone who like's drama. And if your Best friend is a girl and you like to have slumber parties, I don't need that either. I'm a grad student at Fordham University, studying Social Work. My internship, where I do counseling and co-facilitate a few psychoeducational groups at an LGBTQ advocacy center for teens, is also pretty rad.I love going to concerts and seeing live music in general. Some bands/musicians I like include Ani DiFranco, The Shins, Toots &;. I could seriously go on forever so I'll just stop there haha.Aside from music, I love spending time outdoors, going on nature walks, stargazing, etc. Also, as you can imagine, as a future Social Worker I'm passionate about social issues. This includes issues of inequality, civil rights, poverty, etc. I definitely have some opinions on those matters. I'm always trying to better myself and live consciously. Also, I love to travel. I used to be quite the nomad. Maybe because it's the center of the universe.. or so us NYers think ;) That's up to us to decide! Ideally somewhere public haha
