And before you even ask if I play basketball/volleyball, the answer is no. I swim. Now, being taller than the average bear certainly has its advantages: I can reach things in high places, I'm easily spotted in crowds, I'm treated like a celebrity everywhere I go (aka people stare at me like a circus freak), I live in my own little world up here, and the coolest thing about being tall...I get lots of "tall" pickup lines. hahaha "So uhh...you're tall, huh?" sarcasmI would say that my sense of humor is the key to understanding me. I'm a mix of cheesy and dry, straight-faced sarcasm. If you don't understand my humor, then you won't like me. I've often been told that I come off as b****y, until people get to know me and realize that I'm joking. My greatest joy in life is making others laugh. I will do pretty much anything for a laugh, even if it means having to bust on myself (I'm also really good at dorky physical humor - I'm constantly tripping and falling). One of my biggest traits/faults (depending on how you look at it) is that I'm honest (sometimes brutally so). I'm also kind, playful, goofy, adventurous, creative, independent, laid back, and mildly crazy (but in a good way...mwahahaha). I have a theory that everyone is crazy...there are just varying degrees of it (some people are batsh*t crazy and some just have a few odd quirks). I also enjoy being weird and nerdy. (Getting the reaction along the lines of, "what the heck is wrong w/ you?!" pretty much makes my day...hahaha).Why I'm on here: I figured that this would be a way to maybe meet someone who I wouldn't have otherwise met in my day to day routine. I do believe in fate, and that we all will meet who we are meant to meet when the time is right, if we are meant to meet anyone at all. But I think that the most important trait for you to have is a sense of humor. I think that sharing a similar sense of humor and laughing at the same things is the key to any relationship (friendship/romantic, etc). If we can't laugh at ourselves and the small things that happen in every day life, what can we laugh at? Life is way too serious…people need to lighten up. My kind of guy is the kind that when I tell him the floor is hot lava....he plays along and acts like the floor is actually hot lava.Additional characteristics that would be nice in a match: someone who knows what he wants, someone who is considerate, adventurous, playful, respectful, intelligent, ambitious, supportive, easy-going/laid back, confident, charming, kind, etc.I honestly don't care about body type (as long as you're not obese). Mamas love me.- I have tattoos.. who knew? - love driving fast.. my $80 speeding tickets are not so cool though.- I like people who are different or diverse.. always good to learn something new from someone and experience new things..- I organize my closet by color and sleeve length.. you could say I'm a little quirky, but sometimes you have to control the things that you can, because there's so much in life that is out of your hands..What I'm looking for.. is my forever person. Someone to cook dinner with, or that will sit with me when I cook. Someone that's willing to try new things, and will encourage me to do the same. Someone that's honest and gives an effort. Someone that will take my dog out when it's raining, just to be nice. Someone that can help me learn to fix things around the house and has the patience to let me try.
