Hello! I'll play along and write something, even though you may not read it. I'm a good sport. As you know from writing your own, these brief paragraphs can in no way encapsulate who we are as people. Here goes...I have a 10-year-old son, the fact that I mention him first should indicate where he stands in my life. I have no drama related to him except the occasional football injury and maybe talking in class when he's not supposed to. : ) I'm open to dating men with children because I have one, but if you have children and don't take care of them then I'm not going to like you. If you have children and you brag about taking care of them then I'm not going to like you either, because that's what you're supposed to do. Do you brag about showering and brushing your teeth too? LOL! I'm very direct, I do not propagate or perpetuate issues/negativity/drama. The day brings enough on it's own. I live a simple, happy, grateful life. I don't like to fight, I don't seek reasons to be upset. A little about me: My interests are kind of limitless because I love trying new things. My ideal date is anything from an art gallery to a football game. I love to travel and to be outside. I have a very hungry creative side - I draw, paint, design and am into photography, and I bake like Paula Deen. I'm a big time football fan and play fantasy football. I work hard, volunteer in my community, travel, read, seek self-improvement and am secure/comfortable with who I am.-working/hard playing and not afraid to march to the beat of your own drum, then we'll probably get along. About AlanaThis is tough to write about yourself, I think the best thing is to get to know me yourself and asking questions relevant to what interests you. But in a nut-shell, i am an open-minded, fun-loving and adventurous type. I love to go anywhere that I can listen to live music (and dance) while enjoying a beer. I would love someone who is also into music. Not huge on sports, unless a NE team is in the play-offs! I'd rather play the sports myself. Although I don't get to nearly as much as I want to (would love to join an indoor soccer team!I am a very down-to-earth person. What is you see is what you get. I have learned fairly early in life that the best way to ensure happiness is to, no matter what, just be you. Surround yourself with good optimistic people, and rise up and just go for what you want whatever that might be. The funny thing about life is, you can plan it all out just the way you want it to happen. But life seems to happen to you the way IT wants. Best thing to do is to learn to go with the flow.I do have a four year old daughter. She is very possibly the coolest & happiest person on earth. She has changed me in many ways, but mostly she has really taught me to appreciate the small things. If you think you might have an issue with that, please keep searching. I need someone who not only understands that I have responsibilities as a parent but respects that.What I am NOT looking for:Someone who needs to be domineering or control their significant other. Why? -I def need my own space and freedom to pursue my own personal goals.Someone who is needy and needs constant attention. Why? -Pretty much for the same reasons as above.Someone who is uptight, negative or takes life too seriously. Why? -A good sense of humor is an absolute must!AND PLEASE guys, keep the half nude photos to yourself, I am not interested in seeing your body before knowing you, I don't care how nice it is...
