I enjoy going to events of all types. I like most sports, movies, concerts and plays. I enjoy nature. In years past I did a lot of camping and would like to do some again. I have kayaks and enjoy paddling around the local waterways. I like to travel and have been blessed with several opportunities to do so. I have been to a few different countries around the world and several areas aroung the United States.My hobbies include gardening - both flower and vegtable gardening. I have asperations of being able to grow and preserve a large amount of the produce I need for the year. One of my flower garden's includes a fish pond that I created and I enjoy spending time sitting by it and watching the fish. I also enjoy feeding and watching the birds.For me a perfect date would be going out to eat as a couple or with a few friends and then getting together to play cards or go to a movie. I work in the human service field. I enjoy working and like my job. My aspirations are to continue growing in my field and I am given plenty of opportunity to grow in my current position. My goals are focused on being prepared financially for a comfortable retirement. I think the ideal first date would be to meet at a favorite resteraunt for lunch or dinner. I would like an opportunity to talk and get to know each other a little. Other activities I would enjoy would include something like a local fair or community activity.

    I am a loving, loyal woman looking for a man who can appreciate me. I am looking for that someone special who makes me light up when I see them and I do the same for them; someone to talk to about my day; someone to go to dinner and a movie with or just stay home and watch tv. I am not high maintenance and have my prioritties in order at this stage of my life. I like to go for walks but I would not describe myself as athletic. I am a Christian and involved in church activities, specifically I am on a Worship team at my church and sing solos now and then. I like different kinds of music except rap or heavy metal rock. I want to find someone to share my life with but I am very comfortable in my own skin and being by myself. I am not "desperate" to find someone but I'd like to find someone and if I don't find the right person I am okay being on my own. As I write this I think it sounds a little abrupt but I'm not out to waste my time or anyone else's. If you feel the same way I do, I'd love to get together over a cup of coffee initially and see if we have anything in common! Initially, I think meeting for a cup of coffee for a specfic time frame is the best 'first' time meeting. I think you usually have a good idea right off the bat whether you click with someone or not. If there is mutual interest to meet again for what I would actually consider the first real 'date', meeting for just a glass of wine or a drink, or dinner would be great. I think we would need to guage that based on our first impressions. I envision the first 'date' being dinner (doesn't matter where, I'm not high maintenance), maybe a glass of wine (or not) but hopefully great, non-stop, mutual conversation getting to know more and more about each other.

    This is something I am definitely uncomfortable with, not real good at talking about myself but here goes. In the past I was a practical nurse as far as goals and aspirations go I am hoping to go back to School. I have been checking into the P.N. programs offered here in Kelowna and hope to return to school in ***.I love fishing have done a fair amount in and around the interior, love camping and nature, I always feel so relaxed onthe water or sitting in front of a camp fire.- LOVED IT WOULD GO BACK ANYTIME but might not want to come home. As for music there isn't a whole lot I don't like and lots more that I do. well I don't drink coffee but maybe tea for me or a walk along the beach I don't know maybe figure it out at the time
