I moved here a few months ago and I've had a really hard time meeting new people because I work an oddball shift (I usually leave work at 11 p.m.) so I'm trying this out to see if anything comes of it! I love where I live but it still doesn't feel like home, so it'd be fun to find someone I can explore the area with.As far as my personality goes, I'm a pretty sarcastic person and I love to laugh (Who doesn't?), but I'm also pretty shy despite my best efforts to be outgoing. If you want to know more, just ask! :) I love trying new restaurants and seeing movies and all that average stuff, but I also like doing spontaneous things. I'm up for anything, I guess!

I am very close to my family and friends. I have a great job that allows me to work from home and spend time with my dog Dash. However, I feel, that for someone in her 20's I have too much time on my hands. I don't mind being home all day but it does get boring and come nightime, I just want to go out and DO something!I love music and movies. I like to sing so as far as music, I will listen to anything I can hum along to. I am a big movie buff. I even like the cheesy, low budget, terribly written movies. I am pretty bad at sports but will try anything. I enjoy soccer, tennis, hiking, and camping. I am a foodie as well; I love my food. I like to cook and try new things in the kitchen. My goal is to be part of the Human Resources team for some business or other. For me, it's not the work that makes me enjoy a job, it's the people. So if it sounds like I don't care what I actually do, you're probably right!I'm pretty much down for any kind of new experience and I like a challenge.Alrighty, I have to be honest. When I see a good looking, nice, seemingly smart guy on here who has a good job and supposed good intentions, I am always like, "Ok, what's wrong with him? If he is so awesome, why is he single?" In case you have had similar thoughts, I will tell you why: I am extremely picky. I have seen too many things to allow myself to settle. I don't really have a type, I just like what I like. I'm single because I'm picky, but that doesn't mean I'm close-minded, promise! No dinner and a movie! How original; what a great idea, "let's go into a dark theater and watch a movie so we cannot converse whatsoever." ...sounds like a plan Stan! No. Any first date is a good first date if there is some thought put into it. As long as two people can have a fun time and get to know each other, its a success in my book.

I am a huge nerd. I love to read. Strangely enough I am more than ok with my dorkiness :) I am sarcastic more often than not and never afraid to laugh at my faults or mistakes. I think most people are too serious and need to relax. I am extremely laid-back and easygoing.I am easily entertained and easily amused. I am lighthearted, fun to be around, and mostly optimistic. Im fun loving and can be goofy at times. I think most people are way too uptight and serious and need to learn to let loose and relax. Life is too short to waste being upset about nonsense. I may quite possibly be one of the nicest people you will ever meet. I enjoy the occasional night out like anyone else but more often than not I prefer spending my time other ways. Outdoors when the weather allows or curled up watching a movie after making dinner when its cold or rainy. At the moment I'm working in the restaurant industry while I get on track with a career in the field I graduated in. It's a long process but I'm working and busting my butt to make it happen. I'm looking for someone with great sense of humor who is not only honest and trustworthy but mature. I am looking for someone who knows what they want out of a relationship and isn't afraid to go for it. Someone who can take sarcasm and dish it right back out. I am looking for a someone who is happy and comfortable in their own skin but just looking for the other person to complete the package because I firmly believe you cannot be happy in a relationship until you are able to be happy and content on your own. I think dinner and a movie is too cliche. Movies are no good for first dates because you don't get a chance to talk and get to know each other. Lunch or dinner are both good and so is coffee or something of that nature. Anywhere or anything you can do and get to know the other person is a good first date.
