Hi everyone,I am a very crazy outgoing girl that loves to keep active and be happy and positive all the time. I worked at a hotel in Cancun as part of a Sports and Entertainment Team. I did all the activities and sports with guests and we dance in shows as well. I was there for two years now and speak about 70% spanish. I have loved everything I have experienced and think I have grown up drastically as a person. The cultures and people from all around the world that I have met and made friends with have touched me in every way possible. I wouldnt have done this huge move any different. I missed my family and having a stable life and a career and I missed cooking which sounds weird but I love to cook and we had to eat at the hotel all the time BLAH!. With that said I learned very valuable things from being there, I got involved with a lot of charity work through my hotel and got to bring toys and food to kids in need which touched my heart immensely. Now that I am back I am already so over the materialistic ways of people here, where when some new technology comes out everyone has to be the coolest and get it first, where kids play with a new rock and are so happy. Its so sad how most people here live their lives like they need more and more and are never happy with what they have when there are so many that are born into nothing and are happier then those people here. I definitely am not looking for someone who loves to go party, cause part of my job is just that here and I honestly dont want to enter another club ever when I move home hahaha. I want to meet someone that wants to travel and just enjoy life and have fun. Someone who is fun and outgoing but can be serius when needed to be, and someone who can talk things out like an adult without having to resort to using mean harsh words.I am what my guy friends call me the best of both worlds kinda girl, I can hold my own in sports and get dirty but I can be very girl and dress up and look good at the same time.Something unique about me is I taught myself my spanish from a book, despite what people think everyone speaks english to me at my work so I have had to fend on my own. Im kinda a geek and love to learn things. A walk around kits beach with a coffee taking in the fresh air, then after being energized by the coffee maybe have a little basketball game. I like to keep things casual I hate how most of the time first dates seem like a job interview. life is too short and I dont like to be so serious unless in a working environment.

So... yeah... this is a little awkward because I always never know what to write in blank spaces. Describing myself is even harder because I don't really think I'm the best to really give an accurate view of me. Either way, I'll lay out the basics. I'm pretty down to earth and easy going but balance that out with being pretty blunt and sarcastic. I'm a little bit of a techno-geek and love to nerd out on my xbox. On the flip side, I've found myself becoming a lot more fascinated with hiking and exploring the island - I've only been back on this rock for about a year so I'm really trying to soak it up.My zest for life? Every fear I have I love to challenge. I'm incredibly terrified of heights but will never resist a chance to zip line or hike up a rock face. I believe in keeping a bucket list of impossible and humiliating tasks that will be crossed off every opportunity I get.I have a strange and cynical sense of humor and love people that can make me laugh to the point I can't breath. I tend to stray away from pretentious or superficial people because I don't feel like I can relate to them. I've been called a tom boy on various occasions but I don't think that's accurate - I just don't believe in tying fake hair to my scalp, cementing plastic to my fingers, or sporting manufactured dreads to live a lifestyle. I have many girl friends that do so there's no judgement - it's just not me. I've never really connected with people that live their lives by regimen. I'm not saying don't have schedules or goals because I do - I am actually incredibly ambitious- but I guess I'm talking about trying to fit into some kind of pre-packaged bubble or preconceived path of life. If there's anything I've learnt along the way is that you have to roll with the punches and enjoy the journey and not a checklist of to-dos. So that's my mentality... or I guess as good as a "me" filler as it will get within this HTML text box.Why I'm on here, you ask? I love meeting new people and having them influence my life. Hopefully you can be one of them :) Something low key. Coffee and a walk... drinks in a pub. Something that eases the awkwardness of two random strangers meeting - and trust me, there will be awkwardness.
