People who know me best describe me as honest, loyal, thoughtful, smart, confident, and kind. I don't mind confrontation or debating issues, but I don't desire drama. I'm a big proponent of direct communication. I want to have fun! I want to meet someone who can make me laugh. A sense of humor that blends well with my own (sarcastic/witty) is important to me. I value the simple things in life and am looking for someone who feels the same way. I'm looking for a man who is confident and secure. Someone who is open-minded, empathetic, and kind. He has a great sense of humor and can laugh at himself easily. He's an attractive guy's guy with a heart of gold. Someone who believes that commitment can equal happiness when it's with the right person. He's honest, trustworthy, and true to himself. I'm ultimately looking for a best friend and a partner in life. Sidebar-- he is probably not someone who is ultra-conservative, has never held down a job longer than a year, drives a H2/H3, speaks improper English as a lifestyle choice, smokes, or describes himself as "slender." Feel free to attempt to prove me wrong, but these are things I'm pretty sure of ;) I get just as excited for a night out on the town as a night in on the couch and like a good balance in my life of activity and relaxation. I'm a huge Buckeyes fan. I'm also a Steelers fan, which tends to offend people. I'm ok with that. I also enjoy going to Indians and Cavs games (I'm not a total traitor). I love hockey but haven't started following a professional team as of yet. I enjoy watching my Redhawks do well each year. I love dogs, warm rain, theater, snail mail, coffee, football season, farmers markets, spending time with family and friends, reading, wine, yoga, the beach, bargain shopping, taking pictures, traveling, flowers, and being outside whenever possible. I dislike winter, peas, most country music, rudeness, smoking, hypocrisy, know-it-alls/one-uppers, improper use of the passing lane, stingy tippers, passive-aggressive behavior, Nickelback, and bigotry. I have a handful of very close friends, tons of acquaintances, and not many people in between. I tend to spend the majority of my time and energy on the people that mean most to me - my family & best friends. I'm not a big fan of an actual "date" for a first meeting. I'd rather get a drink at a bar or coffee shop and go from there. It's much less of an awkward/forced experience with no pressure.
