About Me

A little about me...I'm 55 and the single parent of two grown children. I was so busy raising them and building my career that I really didn't take time out to date. Now that I'm an empty nester, I'm lookiing forward to moving on to the next stage in my life. I truly am looking for a life partner, even though at times it is a bit like looking for a needle in a haystack.Traveling for pleasure is something that I very much enjoy - primarily to warm locations. I would love to further explore the Caribbean, as well as finally take that cruise I've been dreaming of. Exploring Europe is also on my bucket list.I can be a couch potato, Cuddling up next to you and watching the latest OSU game or a good television show is a great way to relax.I do have a bit of an adventurous streak though! I've been skydiving, hot air ballooning, parasailing and ziplining. I love to snorkel, and am interested in learning to scuba dive.I believe that relationships take time to grow and flourish. I will have great respect for you if you understand that I would like to establish a degree of mental intimacy before seeking physical intimacy.Family is important to me. I have a great relationship with my kids and grandkids, and see them often. I'm also very close to my parents. Should you and I decide that we are a match, I would welcome your family as well.; however, I would love to find more time to spend at the beach. However, what I lack in the cooking department, I more than make up for in the nurturing department.My job requires a good bit of overnight travel during the week, but I am almost always home on Fridays and the weekend. If the right man comes along, I might consider retiring or switching careers to a more traditional Monday through Friday job.Please note that I only feel comfortable responding to profiles with pictures attached.
