Please have a photo on your profile. I have no time for faceless chat..I feel online dating presents more possibilities of meeting someone special. In the past I usually didn't feel very secure or fulfilled, so I do not want to make the same mistake: rushing into things. *** tend to develop before ever possibly knowing each other, and I have found those relationships rarely last. I feel it is important to not have long term expectations when going into things. There are many possible reasons why someone might not be a good match and there is no way of knowing without taking time to really get to know them. I am very sensitive and passionate, and love being romanced. Dating should be fun, not so serious and heavy. There should be a spontaneous easy flow of conversation, with lots of smiling, and laughter. To me a man's smile is his best feature. It has been my experience with dating at our age that often times the conversation will tend to be concentrated around work and feels much like being on a job interview ,which usually does not leave me desiring another date. It feels icky talking about past relationships, anything beyond basic info causes me to feel bored and *** feel the need to be in the leading lady's role while on the date. And I would like to be focused on the man in front of me rather than talking about someone in the past. As much as possible I would like to keep things focused on the present, not looking back or planning the distant future. I also feel a little old fashioned when it comes to dating and want to be out with a man who knows how to be a gentleman, and who genuinely enjoys treating the woman he is out with like a lady.I would welcome a relationship, but I am not naive enough to think I know someone well enough after only a few hours to believe that they are potentially the one. I am lonely, but not desperate for companionship. I would like to go out and have fun without expectation, enjoying each others company and getting to know each other slowly. If anything comes of it then I would welcome that. If nothing grows from it we will have enjoyed ourselves a bit and possibly made a new friend. I feel adventurous and love to travel, try new things, and explore new cultures, it would be nice to spend time with someone who would also enjoy exploring and learning. I am spontaneous and feel i need someone who is fairly spontaneous as well. It makes me feel great to be with someone who has a genuine love of romance. I feel that the potential for a lasting relationship is present or not from the very beginning; there is a chemistry that can be felt. I'd love for someone to share a spiritual path with, while we're having fun doing the other stuff. I've done a lot of silly things - learned how to decorate cakes, took massage certification training so am pretty good for a decent body/back rub (remember, one must give to receive - have to keep the circle going!), have lived in the mountains and the cities, like to be on the water and don't mind fishing - but I've baited my last hook (well, maybe not), like camping and fancy hotels, and have LOTS of varied interests. In other times I used to be into bodybuilding, and still love lifting, but don't train anymore like that. I am, though, trying to return to being fit. I enjoy most all spiritual and metaphysical books, but also get lost sometimes in murder-mysteries! I love lots of movies - mostly ones that are inspiring or comedies. I can't take the blood&guts movies, but that‘s what “guy time“ is for.I'm interested in finding a fun, warm long-term relationship...or wherever that takes us. Marriage is not out of the question, but not an absolute end-goal. I'm looking for someone who is honest and caring; bright, kind and funny, with an intelligent sense of humor; interested in intimacy; financially stable and confident in who he is. I'd like to spend time with someone doing the things we love to do together (although everyone needs their time alone***for sure riding motorcycles, and sometimes they're quiet things, like reading on the sofa on a rainy afternoon, and sometimes they're more...active things; sometimes it's just going to breakfast on the weekend, working around the house, or a little road trip.
