I'm a pretty casual, laid back person looking for someone who likes to get out and explore the city, try new food, go for walks with or without our dogs, hold hands, have a drink, laugh together and make time for each other. I work full-time and have activities I love outside of work but I will always make time for someone special. I'd love to be your happy place.I don't think what you write here is all that important anymore.. people judge by photos to see if there is initial attraction and if so, talk to see if there is a bigger connection. I just finished reading the "5 Love Languages" -- really interesting book. Gave me a lot of insight into myself and what I need, and why some of my past relationships didn't work. It's a lot of work if your #1 language is their #5 but it can be done. The quiz is online at: http://www.5lovelanguages.com We will not be compatible if:- You "forgot" you had a wife or girlfriend- You're great at BS but really just want FWB without admitting it- You're rude to retail/restaurant staff or think they are beneath you- You show up drunk for lunch/dinner- You don't like to touch or be touched (holding hands, hugs, snuggling at the movies***You date so much you just call everyone sweetie or babe- Your idea of dating is never leaving the house (or my house)- Your life is so busy you can't even find 30 free minutes a week- Your first wife was your sister This is usually obvious after a few conversations...

I write novels and plays, and perform occasionally; have cats and dogs; I run a small production company that has produced murder mystery events and improv shows locally. I like creative, well-read folks, who can hold more than one perspective in their minds at a time. Love to laugh

Really like my life, but good company can make everything better. I like spending time with my animals - I'm a sucker for four-legged companions - cooking a nice meal to enjoy with a glass of wine, good conversation, and working out. I also enjoy walking - essential with two big dogs - and I'm trying to learn how to fly-fish, but so far spend most of my time untangling knots in the line. I learned to scuba dive a few years ago and would like to find someone who wants to explore underwater, too. I'm a reading junkie, particularly mysteries and some sci- John. Love complex and challenging dramas. Browsing in book stores is an addiction, along with good coffee. Love to travel and would like to see more of the world. I'd like to meet someone intelligent with an adventurous spirit, a great sense of humor and a positive outlook. Politics are way left; I'm pretty much a former hippie who conformed enough to get by. I'm frequently appalled and dismayed at the greed and arrogance of our so-called elected officials and the direction we are heading. Not interested in playing mommy or wasting time on an alcoholic. Sorry if that's harsh, but at least I'm honest! Coffee or lunch for a first date. If it's great we can plan a longer date later and if it's awful, we both have an escape.
