Woman. 53 years old. Zodiac sign: Cancer.
Looking for: man. In age: 50-60
Looking for genuine, honest, sincere man who is looking for the same in a woman. Someone who likes to laugh but can be serious when necessary. I am a confident, intellegent, attractive woman who values family and the importance of an honest relationship. Let's talk and see if we have common interests and then meet to see if there is chemistry :) First dates are tricky because there has to be some kind of spark between us. Let's just meet for coffee or a drink and if we connect - maybe dinner and a movie, walk in the park or whatever we decide together!

If your reading my profile then there must be some degree of interest in who I am, so let me give you a little insight into myself. At least I tend to think so!!! I would, however, be content to broaden my horizons. I can cook quite well and enjoy cooking for/with all of my friends or that special someone. I am not really into sporting events; however, I can find joy in enjoying another watch a mean game of foosball on occasion. I'm very versatile, I enjoy rock concerts and have seen several interesting shows. I also can enjoy cruises, black tie affairs, horse racing, and about anything else under this great sun of ours. The world is a showcase, and it is here for our enjoyment. I enjoy camping but due to my age I have learned that tent and sleeping bag camping is not necessarily the only way to go.I have four grown children, and have been divorced for about 17 years. While I enjoyed childrearing, I would not want to do it again, four children are plenty and there will be no more in my lifetime. I do enjoy spending time with my three beautiful grandsons. I am somewhat selective on whom I would like to meet, and where this would take place. We would need some great conversation to get to know each other a little bit, to get things started. I am a big fan of safety first. This is what I have to offer.....I am a family person, I am honest, intelligent, educated. I can be fun; I have a great sense of humor. I am a confident, self suffcient, serious type of lady. I have worked my whole life and expect that a friend would share a similar work ethic. I have worked at just about everything under the sun, and well respected in my endeavors. I have done limited travelelling and this is definitely an area of my life that I would like to expand upon. I do not want to come off sounding like somewhat of a snobbish person, but having some of these things in common would be a definite plus!I fortunately still have all of my teeth and most of my wits about me, and would like that to be a commnon thread as well. lolI'm in the healthcare field and enjoy taking care of people at work, not necessarily at home. I am a firm believer in life long learning and keeping fit and active throughout one's life span.I personally do not drink alcohol but do not mind if another tends to abide in such, as long as it is within reason. And I am not a drug user at all. Now, a little on my philosophy on dating/sexual issues. I am not interested in one of these new fangled relationships we like to call 'Friends With Benefits" (which, by the way, is not what I am looking for) and don't want to waste anyone's time, if this is on their agenda. Since there are a few of you who might not know the difference between Friends With Benefits, and Dating:The term, "Friends With Benefits" refers to an agreement between two people who are both friends and physically attracted to one another, and their agenda is to share a sexual relationship. Neither party is considered to be committed to the other, and either (or both) can start dating someone else at any time, with prior warning. Therefore, a "Friends With Benefits" arrangement is not considered dating, a relationship or even casual dating by most people who use the term. "Dating," on the other hand, does not imply that type of relationship, it involves more of a mutual attraction and a degree of committment, and is really more what I am looking for. Thanks, everyone, and happy fishing!!!! I am open to romance, which I would like to think often begins with casual dating and getting to know one another. It takes time and effort, I think, to get to know another person. I work hard and also like to enjoy my time off, and I try to make each moment count. I would enjoy a nice walk in a park, a movie, a dinner for two, a sporting event, or concert. But if you can think of another fun way to break the ice, I am open to ideas.
