Is this how you meet people these days? Meeting people used to be so easy back in the days of the bar. The bar is the furthest thing from appealing to me anymore. I moved back here from a small northern town and have a hard time with the "pretentiousness" of the Lower Mainland. I miss the north, but here I am, so making the best of it. My guy would be described as a mixture of redneck and class. Someone who can throw back beers at a pub over a hockey game, get lost camping in the middle of no where, likes to get dirty sometimes, but can clean up when required. A handy man (or at least someone motivated to call a handyman), common sense and a sense of humour. Drugs are a HUGE deal breaker for me. I've worked hard for my career and own my home and am looking for someone with those same values... I enjoy sarcasm and sometimes think I am funnier than I am.. Hockey game, Dinner, maybe a drink.

My friend suggested I try this, so here I am!! I'm a pretty normal girl, looking for a pretty normal guy...hopefully one that likes the same things I do. A little about me: I like doing anything outdoors, I have a dog, I like beer, I like my job, I like going out and actually doing things (who doesn't, I know), but I do love being a couch potato sometimes.
