A friend recently called me a tapestry of contradictions which I thought was lovely and kinda true. I am equally happy reading an article in an academic journal or a book on the 12th house in astrology. I can see the value in both intuition and hard facts and often use the later to support the former. I work daily to be compassionate and gentle with others but am deeply passionate, vocal and engaged when it comes to social justice and effecting systemic change. I think I am fairly femme in appearance but I'm definitely comfortable with my inner butch.
