I'm not looking for a relationship right now, it wouldn't be right, my body is in internal crisis. I've been sick for a while and I've been sitting in the public health system for a long time. That's called health baggage and ain't right to bring into a relationship. Why put it in a profile? If by some miracle I do have a conversation that isn't someone telling me to piss off for saying hi, and I do meet up with people, it's going to come out anyway. Now it's out, much like me. I do need to get out and I need to make some friends who are like me. Not sick, but gay. I love my straight friends, but they don't always get it and there's supposedly this great gay community, in which I know 1 gay person! Seriously!I like to laugh I like to joke around. I like to talk to people and I enjoy conversations with strangers. That's the whole point to making a profile yes?Things you won't know about me...I like ballet and theater and I really want to go to a proper opera. I also love old black and white movies and I'm a total time warp to the 30's and 40's when it comes to dating. I'm a complete product of my upbringing and believe in being a gentleman where it counts. Things on my bucket list...I want to learn how to ballroom dance (sorry but I'm so taking the lead), I have a mind that goes a mile a minute in a hundred different directions and it keeps spinning on making a trombone the good old old olde (old English even!) fashioned way, by hand and it's all mapped out in my head where all things learned and planned live. I have a need to be busy and to feed my mind and my hands. Currently I'm making a guitar. It's almost done. It's what I've been doing since I really started feeling bad. I do attempt to initiate conversations still, dammit! It's like a disease! And I swear! Carp on a cracker! Also like a disease!If you do decide you're looking to meet people hit me with a message. I love art that makes me squirm, environments that make my cells shout in joy, and tastes that are unique. A low key cultural event or something that facilitates talking and exploring each other's interests.
