Looking for: man. In age: 30-40
Honestly I've never done internet dating before & I'm skeptical that anything will come of this- But I always said there's nothing I wouldn't try and I guess this qualifies as nothing. When it comes to dating guys, I'm picky which is one of the reasons why I'm single. With work, school, & everything else, I don't have much time for dating or talking to guys that I'm not really into- but if I find you attractive & funny- I just might make the time xXx I'm 33, which means most of my friends are boring & married with kids... Me? I did the whole "family" thing from the time I was ***with my daughter's father. Like most relationships, you either grow together or grow apart- we obviously split like Moses did the Red Sea. The experience helped me realize that the "family life" isn't all it's cracked up to be. Now I think I'm the only single 30-something woman that does NOT want to get married & have kids. ***, I'd rather find a (nice, funny, sexy, talented, successful) guy to kick around with and enjoy life. Right now I'm focused on my career. My daughter is in high school & our plan is to move after she graduates. I work full time as a recovery counselor for men getting out of prison and I'm also a personal trainer on the side. My career is my passion. I love my job & the clients that I work with. I believe everything happens for a reason & all the struggles I've been through were to make me stronger & put me on the path I am today, to help inspire others to do the same. Bad girl turned good=) When I'm not working or working out, I'm going to Rutgers full time for my masters degree- so I'm just busy 90% of the time. The other 10% is where 'dating' could fit in. Round 1: MessagingRound 2: FacetimeRound 3: First DateIf you happen to get to round 3, you'll figure it out.

***Please do not message me with just a "hi" or something equally as generic (i.e. "nice profile," "you seem interesting," "heyyyyy"). I will not respond. I'm not looking for a novel, but something showing you at least have read my profile would be appreciated.******Pinning down favorites can be a bit tough—I tend to change them quite often! Music can be anything from 80s rock/pop to Counting Crows to Nine Inch Nails and everything in between (except country...I tend to draw the line there. Sorry folks!)Started off my career path in NYC and then took a few detours after realizing it wasn't for me. So, I've made the leap to upstate NY, then CO, now back to MA.-area) Was even in LA for a year. What I realized from bouncing around? I'm definitely a New-Englander/East Coaster. I also find it funny that I have lived in so many places since I tend to be more of a planner. But, as long as you have a job and a place to live, it's good to see what's out there (even if I realized I like where I started!).I often laugh at parts of movies/tv shows that other people don't pick up on...and then miss the main zingers—I think this sums me up in a nutshell—that is, if that makes any sense to you.In the right circumstance I can be adventurous/spontaneous, but I do tend to be a homebody. Someone who can accept that while giving me a push to not stay at home working on some random project (which I always have going) would be great! It's not like pulling teeth by any means, just a bit of motivation at the end of a long work week. Full-disclosure: When I go out I always say I can only stay for a few minutes..just to get myself off the hook...and then usually end up staying most of the time. Getting lost in a bookstore or the library is definitely an indulgence I allow myself once in awhile—and I balance that with getting outside with the dogs and, ideally, going on a hike (nature walk?).One of my major life goals: build my own house. Although it will probably take me forever—it is a romantic notion that I'd like to entertain. Oh, yes, and trying to learn as many languages as I can—just have to get my hands on all those Rosetta Stones!

I'm a down-to-earth, outdoorsy, animal-loving, foodie, beachy (not ****y), sarcastic, fun-loving type of girl. I am passionate about health and nutrition and I love to cook and eat. You will find me at the beach, farmer's markets, hiking with my dog, hanging out with friends at a local beach bar. I love to learn and grow and I always want to be a better person tomorrow than I am today. I know that life is short and I appreciate each day. I like to get out and have new adventures, try new restaurants, go out dancing now and then, but I also love staying in and cooking a nice meal and having a good glass of wine. I have many doubts about meeting my soulmate on an online dating site, but that said, it doesn't hurt to keep your options open. You just never know. The most important qualities that I'm looking for are: an awesome sense of humor, ambition, compassion, and honesty). It doesn't hurt if you like to be active and appreciate good healthy food. Pet peeves: lying about your height, age, or dating intentions; shirtless bathroom selfies; crude messages (gives a pretty poor first impression)
