About Me

***UPDATE Sept ***I appreciate the *** & chat requests &;no sh!t" level for some, but....if I reply back and you are only going to send short responses then things aren't going to go very far. I'm not going to want to continue talking very long if I am initiating all of the convo. When I get an *** to ask questions to get to know you and if you send a short reply like "yes" or "I had a good weekend" or "I'm an engineer" then it feels like I'm having to work really hard for nothing! Feel free to elaborate or ask me something. A 1 sided convo doesn't go very far! Even if we are talking by text, ***, or chat, it is still the same as if you are having a face to face convo. You say something, I say something... Otherwise you have the awkward silence.I am very blunt & honest & want the same. I know that everyone has flaws & baggage, including myself. And what 1 person considers baggage another may not. Just like what 1 person considers a good quality another may not have even thought about. A lot of people care about material things and looks but don't care about if a person has a plan for their retirement or if they have good credit. I think a retirement plan and good credit are very good qualities. Hell, if you have those last 2 things you can buy yourself looks & material things if that is what you want. lol I'm an adult, I realize that life sucks at times, people say things they don't mean, everyone gets on your nerves at some point, things are going to hurt, & everyone has bad days. I really don't get why people feel the need to lie. I understand most people are not accepting and are judgemental. But try me out. Give me a chance. I have heard it all, I'm sure whatever you have to tell, I've probably heard some variation of it. I won't necessarily give up on someone or end things for their past. But I will for lying!! I realize that you may not be proud of what it is, but if you lie to me about it then you are wasting both of our time. Besides, if you are really wanting it to work out I will find out eventually. Everyone has deal breakers, so spill your "bad stuff" upfront. Have enough respect to tell someone the truth, if nothing else, dump out your 'flaws' immediately so that if you are gonna get rejected, it happens right away and not after you have feelings for them. Why play games, we are adults.I would consider myself a very realistic person. I've been in long term relationships before, so I know that things don't stay in the "honeymoon" phase forever. I have never cheated & do not believe in it. I get told a lot that I am not like most people or most women. I don't get upset if someone drinks out of the milk carton or leaves the toliet seat up & I don't take hours to get ready. I like to do lots of things, but they aren't as fun to do alone. A fav of mine is live comedy. I love comedians and have a great sense of humor. I try to make everything I do fun and like to be silly and goofy when doing the boring and mundane things like running errands.I like where I am at in my life, I don't have any expectations and I'm happy with how things are. If I can add another great component to my life then I'm all for it. Good luck! I am pretty easy to please. If I were to plan the 1st date, I would pick something where we could get to know each other more (I know, more talking, lol). For me, I will be honest...I am impressed by a guy that has something planned out. To me that shows he thought about it, made some effort, or phone calls, arrangements, etc.

I'm new to this and must be honest a little skeptical, however I thought that I would at least give it a try. I'm an outgoing individual that loves to laugh and gets excited about little things. My mantra in life is to keep things in perspective. With that said, I must say have been very fortunate thus far. I'm hoping to meet someone who has a similar ideology and doesn't sweat the small stuff. Someone who can adapt to any situation and do so with humor. I am strong-willed and motivated by a challenge, which drives me in both my personal life and professional life. First date would have to be somewhere where there is the least amount of pressure. Perhaps just drinks.

I like to live my life as drama free as possible, although that's not always as easy as I would prefer, lol... I own my home, have a great job downtown, and am loyal to my friends and family to a fault. I am fiercely independent and like to take things slow and easy. I am looking to date and build a good foundation before getting into anything too serious, and if that sounds good to you just let me know. :) Somewhere we can talk casually, dinner and/or coffee is always a good choice.

Fry: So I really am important? How I feel when I'm drunk is correct?Nibblonian: Yes -I'm actually good with the DMB, just love Futurama. I love to cook, as in over an open fire, hot blazing sun...really love to cook and I miss the days of manual labor when you really got your hands dirty, but I'm not what you'd call athletic. I have been known to hug trees. I love to watch movies, kick back in front of the tv, watch horror movies, travel, go to amusement parks, bike, kayak, work on my house, experiment with new recipes, help strangers, and save the planet. Earth is, after all, where I keep all my stuff. I don't think you need to spend money to have a good time, the simple things are usually the most fun. I am happy with who I am and do my best in life to see both sides to every story. I strive to always be open, honest, and genuine and get really excited about ridiculous things...rocks, sharks, dubstep, whatever. Little moments can be very important. I absolutely love to make people feel good about themselves, and even though I'm a natural introvert, I'm an extravert by trade. My dog makes my heart melt and family/friends are very important to me.If I had to make one request, all I want is someone who makes me laugh, because in the end that's what counts. I appreciate you taking the time to read my profile, and wish you all the best in your search :) You all seem like very nice fellas. How about a long drive to a ridiculous destination or trying something featured on the Food Network? What's your favorite movie (if you have one)? Tell me about something you love.
