About Me

I have several friends who have met their partners on-line so I decided I should give this a shot. I am at a good point in my life and happy with where I am. But, I feel it's missing something... that special someone. I have a good career, am finanically secure and have been blessed with an amazing family and group of friends. I am generally a laid back and go with the flow type of person. I am not into drama and tend to avoid those who are negative, always complaining, or looking to create drama. I always try to look for the positives, in every situation. I enjoy spending my time with my friends and family as often as possible. I have two nieces that I absolutely adore and look forward to the times I am able to spend with them. I truly enjoy a wide variety of activities from cooking and trying new recipes, to attending sporting events and comedy shows, to going on road trips, camping, boating, or tubing down a river. I am not the most athletic/coordinated person but have gotten involved with Kickball and Dodgeball in the past year and really enjoyed it :) I am fairly "handy" and enjoy doing projects around the house. I also like biking, hiking, and working out at the gym a few times a week. As for music, I listen to a very wide variety of music and like going to concerts. I like dogs, but don’t have one of my own, yet ;) I am not a cat person, as I am allergic. I love to laugh and tend to be a bit sarcastic, so you will need to have a sense of humor :)I know there are a lot of great guys out there, but I think I am the best match for someone who is educated, has a solid career, and basic Christian values.     How to talk about myself and not sound completely narcissistic? Ha. I'm a foodie, love good wine and craft beer. I have a large family who drives me crazy but pushes me to be a better person. I'm pretty outgoing and can be silly but don't necessarily like being the center of attention. I like to try new adventures, sometimes just to push myself out of my comfort zone. I've lived in different places and traveled a lot and there are still tons of places I would love to see. I love going to concerts, sporting events, social gatherings, hanging out with friends. Not my first attempt at online dating but I thought I would give it another go and see what happens. If nothing else meeting new people and making friends is never a bad thing. No matter how hard you try more often than not first dates can be awkward, so the idea of a "typical" first date does not appeal to me. Find something we both like and go from there. Concert, car show, sporting event, whatever. I even went to a gun range for the first time on a first date. I'm pretty open and I think easy going so surprise me.
