Here's a list for you of some highlights:-I'm a bit of a "hippie" and I've been told I look like a tree hugger. -I love nature and feel the best when I am surrounded by it. I strive to live more sustainably on the planet. -I want to live outside of cities rather than in them (for the reason stated above).-I am both creative and analytical yet not many would call me practical. I make decisions that are not always logical or rational. I'm a big believer in following my heart and intuition and this trumps logic and practicality for me. -I love staying at home as well as going on outdoor adventures. -I am the only parent to my 3 year old son, and am looking for someone who wants to join our family and help us grow it. -I have a degree in mathematics that I don't use at all. -I love to read and learn new things. -I dabbled in internet marketing for a bit to try and find a way to make location-independent income. I learned a lot, but ultimately felt like it wasn't right for me. I am currently putting energy towards a variety of web design projects. This allows me to create potential income opportunities while expressing creativity and having my son in my own care. -I had a negative experience in the mainstream school system for a large chunk of my life and am now a huge believer in unschooling and child-led learning. -After focusing for a long time on a vegan raw food diet, I've recently begun gravitating more towards a sustainable diet that includes animal foods. I am currently brewing my own kombucha and enjoying it very much. -I am a big believer in natural health and birth, home birth, and unassisted birth. I am not a believer in most standard western medical ideology/practices, though I recognize that at times they can be potentially useful (i.e.caring for broken bones)Please don't contact me if you don't have a profile picture or if you are older than 40.     I'm going to start off by being honest, because I value honesty. That being said, I totally and shamelessly lied about my age in my profile. Although age 35 is displayed, I am actually ***and I don't want to miss meeting someone great simply because I didn't show up as a match). Anyway, I have been told many times over that I don’t look or act my age, but I’ll let you decide that. :)I have never been married nor do I have kids. Maybe.. but I think I just haven't found the right guy. I've made the mistake of giving Mr. Wrong the benefit of the doubt while Mr. Right slips by unnoticed. We've all been there but unlike many women my age, I just skipped the marriage/kids/divorce part of it. I know that's cheating.. Now that we got the lying and cheating out of the way, let's move on, shall we?I have a day job managing an office/company which does commodities trading. My other job is teaching and I also compete in amateur adult figure skating competitions. This is how I stay fit and this is how I challenge myself physically, mentally and emotionally. I love the mind/body connection it provides. This is my excuse as to why I am horrible at trivia. I love puzzles though :-)I drive a stick shift. I'm a Jewish/Greek hybrid. I enjoy playing cards. I don't like drama but it can be good in moderation. I don't like feta cheese. If you ask me about sports, your eyes will be met with a blank stare. I love being active yet I also enjoy lazy weekends at home, cooking and watching movies with someone I love. The same goes for movies. You're attractive and you like to stay fit. You like dressing up and hitting the town but you also enjoy doing low key activities at home. You're lighthearted and you have a good sense of humor. You don't like drama but you also agree that a little bit in moderation can be good. You are passionate and intimate. You are an adrenaline junky, maybe you're into an extreme sport or you like thrill rides, like roller coasters or shit, I don't know, bumper cars.. ? :) Really though, you could possess none of what I mentioned above (except for the passion and intimacy - that's mandatory), and for some reason we click. I don't want to put too many limits, here.. I'm thinking it would be fun to get together in a coffee shop of some sort or even a bar and start out playing a game. Maybe cards, chess (I've always wanted to learn but I'm clueless), or even some fun and interesting 'authentic' games I'm becoming familar with (I would take the lead on those). A date should be fun whether or not it leads to more. At the very least, a good friendship can come out of it. I'm open to other ideas as well but I thought it would be a fun way to get to know someone; to me it seems easier to be the best version of myself when engaged in some kind of activity. It could be a nice ice breaker which could make the transition into conversation more natural. Just a thought, I'm not stuck on the idea and I'm open to other ideas.
