I'm just trying out the online dating scene right now and seeing if I may find someone I actually click with. I'm very easy going and open minded. I am a lady with self respect and confidence (but not arrogant). I believe that both peoplle involved in any relationship should be able to tell eachother anything and be themselves at all times without worrying if the other person is judging them. All relationships should be based on trust, if you can't trust the person you're with then why be in a commited relationship? Trust should be established before even deciding to commit. I am not a jealous person and give people the benefit of the doubt, but have run into the issue where the people see it as an opportunity not something to appreciate. So, I'm just looking for a man who is mature, confident (not c0©ky ) and knows what he wants. I prefer to stay single for a while and just date, so I can feel confident in my feelings for someone and to get to know who they are and what they're about. Anybody can say anything, but actions speak louder. I'm a good person and I have a big heart, I'm just looking for the right person to share it with.     If anyone can get the opening line - bonus points. I have an uncanny memory for random quotes. I love comedy, particularly observational and abstract, foreign films and hard hitting flicks of any kind. I love traveling. I lived in Africa for 3 years. Botswana - managing a safari camp (scariest moment - I'm kind of a wannabe writer - I have about 10 pages of a novel written and no title - good start! I am currently pursuing a career in conflict resolution which I find very rewarding and I do spend a good deal of my time volunteering. I love hanging out with friends over good coffee, better food, and great wine. I also adore my 3 nieces all under 15 months (2 are twins!). I love playing sports (especially softball and volleyball) and enjoy all kinds of music...except country. I'm active and hit the gym, but I'm not obsessive about it. Working out is so I can enjoy a gorge fest at a great restaurant...so I'll leave it at that for now. I do want that someone who is my equal, but also challenges me. I want to sit across from one another and feel that electric pull where nothing is boring, especially the conversation. Where minutes turn into hours in the blink of an eye because stimulation and connection are magnetic. Generally, I like a casual drink at a casual bar. Nothing too fancy, but likely not a complete dive either. Don't get me wrong - I love a good hole in the wall but that's perhaps for the 5th or 6th date if we get that far. A date is not so much about what you're doing or where it's about chemistry - physical, conversational, intellectual. So, good to keep it simple.
