Jesus first, my son 2nd, hope you're okay with being 3rdI'm a single mom of an incredibly handsome, way too smart, 7 yr old little boy. I'm a self employed sign language interpreter. I love my job and was once a workaholic. But not too long ago I realized how much life was passing me by. So I'm working less and spending way more time with my son. I'm looking for my best friend, someone who will appreciate my independence, my passion, my sarcasm, and my "baggage". It cracks me up when people ask for a partner with no baggage. That's like saying you want someone with no life experience (note there is a difference between baggage and drama though). Baggage isn't meant to weigh you down, it's meant to teach you a little more about yourself and what you want from life. So those with baggage may apply, and I hope you are a little stronger and a little wiser because of it. *** UPDATE - I'm not calling my son baggage! Geez, read it again.In my free time I like spending time at church, taking my little guy on weekend getaways, going to the gym, and spending time with friends and family. I like those "hole in the wall" type bars that only the locals know about. I can be a little competitive. No one has ever beaten me at shuffleboard and I intend to keep it that way :-) If we play video games together, it's best that I use my own controller. I've been known to throw one or two of them after losing, lol. I also love nights at home, with my favorite blanket and a good movie. I'm bad at pool and bowling, but it's funny to watch me try. I like laughing until I cry, cheap wine, nights out on the town with the girls, long walks, occasionally making a fool out of myself, and the cold side of the pillow. I try to stay healthy. I eat as healthy as I can...most days. But if you insist on beer and pizza one night I won't turn you down! I spend a lot of time at the gym, attempting to perfect my downward dog and child's pose (I'm still trying to figure out what they are too. yet another activity that I'm sure is amusing to watch me try). I like a man who takes initiative and is capable of planning...

    Well as far as the basics, I'm 31year old single mother of two, I have two kids so if your not a kid person or if you have no patience for kids then I'm not your girl for sure. I work two jobs (a full time and a part time) but I still have a life and get to have free time. Im a dental assistant, a great friend, a hard worker, I enjoy the outdoors-being at the lake, I'm funny, I'm kind, I like cooking and grilling out, playing soccer or volleyball, warming up by a Bon fire, or just being outside soaking up the sun. I'm honest, too nice, too caring and I love with all my heart. I've been in some not so great relationships that sometimes makes me question things-but I'm human and imperfect...aren't we all!? I just want someone who is perfect for me. Someone who just gets me and I get them...Someone easy to talk to, kind, understanding, fun, spontaneous, likes to dance, and knows what they want! Someone not afraid to talk about things...even things that may not be easy to hear, because Communication is such a big deal...especially early on. It's the only way to figure out if someone is the one for you. I really never thought dating would be so difficult that I would have to do this online thing, but These days it's Not only meeting someone that is hard, it's meeting someone real. Being truthful seems to be really hard for people these days. That being said, if your dishonest, unsure of what you want, just looking for a hook up or a player just keep moving! :) Something fun!

    I've been in some crummy relationships and just want to see if I can find a real man. I have two children and a dog. I'm big into family, without their help and support I'd be lost. I do some volunteer work and work a fully time job- which does involve some overtimes on weekends. So yea it kinda hurts the social life but hopefully I can make that work with someone. I like to read and have fun. I love movies- whether is going out to see one or just renting one and cuddling up to watch it. I can cook and bake, and would like to find someone that can do that as well- so its not just all on me =) I listen to all types of music I used to love going to concerts but don't get to go as much anymore. not really sure what else to let you know. so if your interested then message me and lets see where it can go. to start maybe if its warm/nice out a walk in a park to talk and get to know each other then followed by a nice diner- doesn't have to be anything fancy but just eat and have a good time either out or at home. Or maybe go out to a movie or rent something to watch at home. just a relaxing but overall good time.
