About Me

To state the obvious, I am a woman with a disability (wheelchair and respirator dependent). Seeing a woman with a disability on a dating site is not a common thing; I understand that. Curiosity is cool. Fear and ***? Not so cool. All I ask of you is be open to the possibility that your "special one" may not be what you have imagined her to be.Straight up; here are a couple things you need to know. 1. I am looking for a PARTNER; not a caregiver, a f*ck buddy or a pen pal. 2. I am the employer of seven to eight fabulous women. They are employed as my attendants to assist me with my physical care and upkeep of my home. I have one person at my place with me at all times. The common concern for most men at first is being overheard during sex. We're all adults, get over it. :)3. I have a cat that you will need to share me with. 4. Going to the guy's home as never been part of my dating life due to accessibility issues. Dates have always been my place or going out to restaurants, movies, parks, or whatever else is going on. All I can say is you'll have to decide what is ok for you. My belief is the only barriers in life are those self-imposed. Same goes for dating. :) Oh, and I'm not into casual dating, casual sex or one night stands so please do not waste my time or your's by asking. So, if any of this is a deal breaker... Run away NOW! :)I am looking for a meaningful relationship; one based on respect, trust and honesty, someone who is emotionally available, open-minded, accepting, supportive, positive, loves to laugh and believes that the only limitations are those we put on ourselves! And if monogamy is not in your nature than I am not for you. I have completed the Applied Counselling Certificate Program with a specialization in addictions from University of Manitoba. I also have a Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in English and developmental studies from the University of Winnipeg. I have two jobs; one primary and a second income on the side. My primary job is with an accessible and supportive housing program for people with disabilities and there I teach and assist people with disabilities to live independently. I am also the counsellor and founder of my own counselling practice. In both positions, I am blessed to live out my life's purpose of empowering others to discover their innate and endless possibilities!!!I also have exciting plans for the future! Ask me about them!!!I am fun, easy going, loving, and passionate about life and the people in it! On my weekends off, I love going to my parents' home in the country, eating good home cooking, suntanning on the deck by day and bonfires by night. If it is summer and the sun is shining, I'd much rather be outside than in! Due to lack of snow tires, I'm not much of a snow bunny, so in the winter, I watch my favorite T.V. shows, go to movies, listen to music, read, write poetry and just chill. I work hard at everything I do in life whether that be with work, relationships or life goals and I have accomplished everything I've set out to do so far. I've done a lot but I plan to do a hell of a lot more. My life's purpose is to fulfill my true potential, in all capacities and to inspire, empower and assist others to do the same. I am spirit-filled rather than religious. It does not matter to me what religion you identify with. What matters is what you do with when the sermon or practice is over. Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food:Books: Eckhart Tolle books, sci-fi/paranormal/fantasy, autobiographies and memoirsMovies: Avatar, RENT, Ghost, The Notebook and pretty much all superhero films. The list goes on!Tv Shows: The Big Bang Theory, Grey's Anatomy, The Mentalist, CSI, and a lot of the oldies like ER, The Practice, House, Fringe, Friends, Seinfeld, Mad About You... The list goes on!nk... And more!Food: Steak, pizza, sushiSome might think I should be so lucky that any guy pays attention to me at all or that I should settle. Sorry to break it to you, but that is definitely not me. You'll learn that soon enough. ;) I've had numerous relationships that have taught me a lot and this girl knows exactly what she wants and does not want. I love my life, my two jobs and my amazing family and friends and having a special someone to share my awesome life with would make it, well, even more awesome! :)I can't wait to hear from you!Ok, apparently this little bit has to be said so here we go! I can get sex anywhere. Love is a little harder to find, though, don't you agree? So, let's not waste each other's time by you messaging me silly sexual invites. K? K. Glad we cleared that up. :) Just a casual get-to-know-each other over coffee or dinner is fine by me.

Woman. 35 years old. Zodiac sign: Libra.

Looking for: man. In age: 32-42

I am a well rounded woman who has lots of goals in life. I work hard in my profession, but take time to enjoy life along the way. Love to exercise and enjoy working up a sweat whether its jogging, walking my dog, taking a class, or spinning. I enjoy a good glass of wine with friends, traveling in the US and world, and trying new things given a little push. I am a very affectionate person who enjoys that in return. My hopes are to find someone to share all the great things in life. A great date involves good conversation over dinner or at a wine bar. I like to really get to know someone first and foremost!! Then...we'll see! : )

Woman. 31 years old. Zodiac sign: Scorpio.

Looking for: man. In age: 28-38

Hey! I'm an easy going and down to earth woman -- I enjoy the simple things in life and am looking for someone to share those things with. On that note, I'm not looking for casual hookups, so if that's your goal I'm definitely not your gal. I'm not into drama or games... Let's not make this dating thing any more difficult than it already is. I'm originally from "up north" and I really enjoy spending time there. I can have fun doing just about anything and I like a wide variety of activities but some of my favorites are playing softball (I have a scar under my right eye from a bad hop I took to the face not too long ago), cooking and baking (being in the kitchen together is so much fun!) fishing (I've been known to spend an entire day either in the boat or on shore), and being with friends and family. Nothing brings me more satisfaction than being outside sitting around a fire with friends. I'm happiest when I'm outside, particularly if I'm on or near the water. I'm not really into the bar scene unless you want to shoot some pool, throw darts, or catch some live music, then I'm totally in! I'm usually up for anything and you are just as likely to see me all dolled up to go out as you are to find me in jeans and a hoodie. Let's take the back roads to a dive bar for a burger and a beer! I enjoy intelligent conversation as well as low brow humor and sarcasm, I hope you do, too... It's less about what we're doing and more about enjoying each other's company. I have three tattoos and a few piercings with more tattoos in the works... I realize that not everyone likes tattoos so I just want to throw that out there. Having tattoos is part of who I am! I love my tattoos but they aren't highly visible due to my job. Yes, I like men with tattoos but I've got an open mind and am really looking for someone that wants to share common interests and learn from each other. I think everyone probably says this, but I'm looking for a nice and genuine guy to be part of my life. At the end of the day, who you are is more important to me than what you look like or how many toys you have. Ok... I hope this point is well taken: I think relationships are a give and take, a two-way street, and I'm completely on board with that. However, I like to think that the the guy will make the first move. Say hi, chat for a bit, and if it feels right, be the one to initiate the first date... Call me old fashioned, but it feels good to be treated like a lady, what can I say? :)So drop me a line and let's chat, I might surprise you :) Coffee or a drink and then a walk sounds nice, but anything that would give us the opportunity to talk and get to know each other would be great. Maybe something unconventional? Gun range? Teach me how to use a bow? Ice fishing?

Besides being playful and having a sense of humor. I'm a laid back gal looking for a man who knows what he wants out of life. I'm self-sufficient. I'm looking for a guy who is the same, must love sports and be down to earth. He must have personal goals and aspirations like I do. I am open to dating a guy who has children. My friends are my family. I have a decent job and a half and I work hard so that I can play harder! The guy I date must like dogs. I have one that is spoiled rotten. I often speak my mind, I am not looking for an ***, a booty call or a relationship through a phone, let’s date and see where it goes.. If interested, message me. If not Happy Fishing! 8o) I'm game for whatever.. Let's Go fishing or have a picnic in the park. Take dance lessons, go bowling.. I'm laid back and opened to new adventures.
