About Me

I am a woman with a VERY colorful past- no baggage no drama no kids never married; I just lived very fast for far too long (that's all history now). I am currently working hard for the U.S. Army living life to its fullest . I enjoy anything outdoors as long as you know what to do with me indoors. I also enjoy experimenting in the kitchen and love varieties of ethnic food. I workout five or more times a week (Army mandated) and therefore, would prefer a man who can keep up with me in any regard. Someone that can make me laugh as much as I make him laugh (or as much as he laughs at me); That being said he must also appreciate a good shenanigan or two. Musical interests include hard and heavy rock old/classic rock and VERY old school R&B/Jazz. I am not looking for a man to take care of or to take care of me- just someone to appreciate the simple things in life with and possibly come home to- If it finds its way long term that's great and if not- no worries. I am currently in the upstate NY area;; Do not fret- I will also be home for three weeks during Christmas. Good things are worth waiting for and they DO come to those who wait or go out and get them. I went out and earned all of my 'good things" did you? My friends describe me as fiercely loyal and inappropriately funny. My mind does roll around in the gutter.... ALOT and I must constantly sensor myself at work. I aspire to become better than what I have become each and every day. Although I am content and plainly happy with life in general I am not oblivious to the fact that there may be something missing and perhaps something better out there. I am the kind of woman who HATES makeup but wears it when appropriate; loves Friday night outings with friends, Beach day Saturdays and, long lazy Sundays wrapped up in bed w/him and a case of DosEquis. Throughout the week my job in the military takes up most of my time. I am NOT interested in men who.... play videogames/owns an xbox or playstation, are not career and goal oriented, lack intellectual capability, enjoy rap and refer to it as music, use terms such as 'booboo' 'dawg' 'cut' 'da' 'bro' 'twerk' The first date can be anything that allows two people to communicate and get to know one another as well as have FUN- dinner or coffe and drinks are nice however a strip mall carnival or fishing excursion suits me just fine too. Maybe a brief meet at a bar for drinks and conversation and if either of us is not itching to get away from the other follow up with dinner and/or some live-band swing dancing.

    Updated: So, I was talked in to setting this up a while ago and haven't been that great about responding to messages. No offense, I guess I just wasn't looking. After constant lecturing and nagging from friends and fam that I should probably try to date more, I am going to ATTEMPT to do a little better about being responsive on here. I like smart and funny guys. Someone who can challenge me mentally. I appreciate a sense of humor but the ability to be an adult. I take being a mom very seriously, I have a soft spot for good dads, they just seem to understand my priorities more. I work hard, live a fairly simple life, and try to be as laid back as possible and prefer the same in the company I keep.
