I'm from a small town in the middle of nowhere and came to the city a number of years back to "make something of myself." I guess that makes me "that" cliche. I've done pretty well through all of it. I discovered I'm great at what I do, I'm definitely going places, and I love the city as much as the country. So I moved to the other side of the water to Kitsap 2 years ago and I've loved my time here.I like being where there's life and opportunity. I want to experience the world. I've done a lot on my own but I'd like someone to share new experiences with. I love my big old house, living in a small town, and inviting people over to eat food, drink wine, and sit in front of the fire with me. Stability, family, friends, and consistency are important to me. I love a good hike or camping trip but I certainly don't come off as "one of the guys." I'm cool with hosting your friends for a football party. I'm even more okay with it if you're the type of guy who will break away, find me in the kitchen, and give me a kiss for all the good work I'm doing. I'm absolutely on board if you're the kind of guy who will help me in the kitchen before everyone shows up. I'm lookin' for a team mate here. My career is important. I've come a long way and I'd like to find someone who encourages me as much as I would encourage him. People should lift each other up, work together, and find ways to help each other achieve their dreams. My friends are important. I'm SO lucky to have some really incredible people as friends. I adore men who are intelligent, a little bit goofy, consistent, and dedicated. Emotional steadiness is important. I tend to not do well around people who are unnecessarily emotionally draining. I love people who are curious and adventurous. There are a lot of things I want to do and see in life and I'd love to experience those things with you and vice versa. Teach me about something you're into. I'll probably like it. :) If you feel like being adventurous and living outside the box I certainly won't tell you no. When you remove two people from their comfort zone and give them a task, they stop feeling awkward and act like themselves much quicker.A date should be fun...not an interview. :)If you want to take the safe route and do a movie or something I'm great with that too. I'm a pretty easy going person.

Well, I'm not a barbie doll, I don't wear much make-up, I play in the dirt with my kids and friends. I think life is too short to worry all of the time and refuse to watch it pass by.I am stuborn and opinionated, which tends to either be offensive or endearing to people. I make mistakes but learn from them most of the time. I'm not trying to be perfect, I like me the way I am.I eat anything that doesn't tell me not to, but love seafood (especially sushi).My kids read to me, I don't get much time to read to myself but would love to if I ever get my life of full time mom/home chef/employee/smart ass/house cleaner/laundry service all in perfect balance, with time to spare. I like to drink at least one beer after work, sometimes three or four (watch out I could be an alcoholic lol). I do often go days without drinking at all though. I like hole in the wall/dive bars, but who doesn't right?I am a fan of music. I do claim to like all kinds, but I don't really enjoy rap or classical, so I guess I don't.I think I am a normal person and have never been diagnosed with mental illness. That being said I will not date anyone that needs meds to function in their life.I like beards, yep, beards lol (not required though).I have my own camping gear and enough to share too if yours was stolen or something....just sayin'.I swear.
