I am happy. I have had a really rough year or so, but have found a way to get through it all and end up on top with my own two hands. Because of all that I have overcome, I feel that I have a greater understanding of not only what I am looking for, but also what I bring to the table, and where my boundaries are. I dont have alot of "favorites," I more often opt for the variety pack. I have my master's degree in education/school counseling and love working with children and families. After work I like to let my hair down, and either relax with my puppies or go meet up with friends and new people. My favorite color is orange, i listen to everything but country, metal, and techno. I have danced 22 years. I love animals. I love new things. I love the beach, tanning, boats, bbq's, and everything about summer. I am guided through life by my moral code, ethics, and principles. I will always try to take the higher road, despite the nagging voice in my head to take the easy way. I take a stand against injustice, because I am THAT girl. I am independent, I have always paid my own bills. I had my midlife crisis early, so I'm smooth sailing now. I have been accused of having a broken picker in the past, and I'm determined to make better choices this time around in a mate for myself. I want a nice, responsible guy, not to be mistaken with unattractive, and/or spineless. I have a big personality and it takes a special kind of man to not only keep up, but to reign me in from time to time. Se since I have a master's degree, you should have some degree of some kind.I have worked hard to become who I am, I am looking for someone to enhance my life. Life is about progression, don't contact me if you are going to be dead weight to me. This girl has to fly. Now, tell me who YOU are...I will not ask for more than I can give. I can accept having a past, I'm more concerned with what you have done with those learning opportunities. I want and deserve the whole package. I want intellectual stimulation, stability, emotional health, attraction, ambition, accomplishment, honesty, kindness, sincerity. I need a balance and dependability when life is knocked off center. I don't need or want anyone to fight my battles, but I do want someone in my corner to pick me up when I fall, or to cheer me on through my victory. I will not settle, but I will explore. I have an open mind and acceptance for adversity, but that doesn't mean that I will immerse myself in someone else's bullshit. I am a control freak's nightmare, and will shatter the ego of any jealous man. I will rise to the occasion, and don't always step down. I am also filled with as much compassion and generosity as I can hold. I'm a dichotomy and versatile. Sweats and nachos or wine tasting and opera, you may find me anywhere...ON A SUPERFICIAL NOTE: Foreign accents drive me crazy (in a bad way). Attached earlobes creep me out, sometimes I like to kiss ears, and just can't do it. Please have a car, I don't want to do all of the driving. I don't do active military, I can't deal with deployment. I'm okay with dads, but not if ur kids mom is crazy or gonna make any kind of hell, (I am none of her business). By good I mean that I may actually want to be inside your mouth one day, and those odds greatly diminish if you don't take care of your teeth. I am a picker. Behind closed doors I may want to pluck your eyebrows, ingrown hairs, or pick at that thing on your back. I'm OCD about bumps I guess. Don't talk about sex in regards to us until I have decided that they may be something I am considering, it is creepy. I would rather you tell me no than say nothing in attempt to spare my feelings. My feelings don't get hurt easily, especially in the beginning. If you snort when you laugh, I will point it out, and laugh harder. The more you try to CONVINCE me that you are different from every man I have ever met, the more you are just like the rest of them. How I feel about you is none of your business, so don't ask, I'll tell you if it becomes relevant. I will not meet you for coffee, that tells me ur not sure yet if you really want to meet me and you want something quick and easy to escape from. If ur not sure, then you need to put more time in figuring it out. Dinner is fine, but a walk or a movie is out. Id like to see someone that has a creative side, I have gone to more dinner dates than I can count. If you want me to remember you, then stand out and sell yourself! You are your best advocate! If there is a second date, I am full of ideas, but I'm not going to tell you. Surprise me, and be suprised ;)

I am a single mom to three awesome kids, two boys and a girl. I just started back to school this fall to start working towards my degree. I work full time, so between that, being a mom and a student I don't really have a lot of extra time. My profile says I want to date but nothing serious, which is true. But if the right person came along, I wouldn't pass it up. So for now I would just like to get to know people who have the same interests as me.
