About Me

Well the nest is empty and it's time for me to get on with my life. So let me start by telling you a little about myself. I am a very independent but far from a feminist. I work part time so I can watch the grandchildren two sometime three day a week. So my daughters can work full time. I am very low maintance, so if you want your woman to wear the lastest fashion, sorry not me. I was born and raised on a farm so I can go out and play in the mud and turn around get dressed up and go out to dinner and a movie. An if you have alot of drama in your life write a book I'll read it later. Don't need no crazy ex of yours driving me crazy, I like my life stress free. Tired of men telling me what they think I want to hear, making and breaking promises, and not ready for a serious relationship. Say what you mean and mean what you say. I don't want to control anyone and won't be controled by anyone (I had a dad). I also won't change for a man and don't want a man to change for me, It won't work, you can't teach a old dog new tricks And yes sarcasm is a spice of life. so bring in on. I like motorcyles, flea markets, truck/tractor pulls, playing pool, going out to eat and love scary movies, I like Steven King and Robin Cook. I would love to travel some,I am going to see the Grand Crayon before I die. It's on my bucket list. Yes i'm old enough to have a bucket list. I am looking for a smart independent family oriented man. Someone who know what he wants, Someone who is ready to enjoy life and not go through it at ***mph. So I try to integrate "working out" into my daily life. I start the day with "Yo-latis" my own special blend of yoga & palates. When I'm alone I often crank up some Techno Dance Music (or anything with a strong beat) and dance with abandon,...true ABANDON!Love the great outdoors, it's the worlds largest gym! I enjoy running (as opposed to "walking") on the beach, cross country skiing, long challenging hikes,(and short ones as well), mountain biking (need a new bike) riding (need a new horse). Even gardening can provide a great workout. Being in nature restores my soul and brings me clarity.I should mention that among many other things I very much enjoy the physical aspects of a monogamous, committed, relationship. Developing such a relationship takes time spent together, coming to know each other on a truly meaningful level, and building a deep seated trust for one another.
